I don't know why Pitt would say something like that. Personally, and I know it will not hurt the movie at all, I will not see Basterds.
I actually think that Pitt takes away from the movie because Tarantino's efforts were never about stars but about storytelling and amazing dialogue.

Brad can't act. While Valkyrie was not great, it was based on actual events. His movie is pure fantasy. I did not see Benjamin Button because of him. I will not see this movie either. It will have a good first weekend because of QT's fanbase, but it will fade fast. Brad may be a great tabloid star, but his box office is not strong at all.

Pitt's and Tarantino's new film has very little to do with WWII- it looked like a bad spaghetti western with Hollywood-style Nazis and a rather caricatured cartoon Hitler.

I do not like Cruise either, but at the very least, Walkyrie was based on historical events, even if the production was a bit whitewashed.

Hitler's retaliation was far more savage in real life, and there was a noticable lack of fanatical SS troops and dreaded Gestapo operatives, but Cruise's film was clearly superior to Taratino's chidlishly sadistic fantasies.

They dont make movies like they used to, I like Judgement in Nurenburg the most among movies about WW2/Nazi. Pitt and the actors are pieces of shit compared to the greats like Shell and Lancaster. The court room scenes where Shell loses it and goes for blood and when Lancaster stops him and gives his speach were simply superb.
Those type of actors, movies and class are gone, only jerks like pitt and crap movies coming out.

Great blog post. The things i would like to add is that laptop or computer memory should be purchased should your computer can no longer cope with anything you do with it. One can set up two RAM boards of 1GB each, for example, but not certainly one of 1GB and one with 2GB. One should always check the manufacturer's documentation for the PC to make sure what type of memory space it can take.
