LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kate Gosselin will give her first television interview since announcing her separation from husband Jon and the future of her reality show "Jon and Kate Plus 8."
Kate will sit down with Meredith Vieira on Monday's "Today" show on NBC.
The mother of eight will discuss dealing with divorce and raising children with all eyes of the media watching.
This will be the first time she's been heard from publicly since her split from Jon and since news of Jon's relationships with other women have been documented.

kate did sometimes come off as a *itch but jon's behavior since the split reminds me of a college kid with no mom or dad around.
Jon seems like an rresponsible child who wants to use his kids to finance his lifestyle of chasing women. He is a dud and any woman who thinks differently is obviously just out for a "chunk of the change" or simple minded.
Look how well behaved those kids are. They could be little spoiled monsters.But, it seems that the spoiled monster is John If it wasn't for Kate who knows were they would be John could not finish school or Keep a job obviously look at him now is he 18or 32 father of 8? The next one he marries will have to keep a leash or he will be the lump that does nothing. Look at him now he needs someone to tell to take a shower and sit up.
Regardless of what Jon or Kate's side of the story is there are always 3 sides to every storey. His, hers and then there's the truth. All this is just to make a buck. If they really cared about their kids they would quit the reality show and concentrate on the kids. Get out of the spot light and the press would go away. It's sad when the dollar is more important the your own flesh and blood.
I think it is about time Jon started to stand up for himself. She treated him like she hated him. She has a lot of help in that house, yet you would think she does it all herself. Now, she says everthing is for the kids. Bull!! Everything is for Kate. She loves the limelight. Who can blame Jon for looking elsewhere for a woman who doesn't put him down every time he opens his mouth. I feel bad for the kids.
I have never watched the show.. and I really don't care to... BUT how can you not help get sucked into this drama when it's all you read about in gossip magazines! From what I see, Kate started it having all the surgeries, and any woman likes to look good (or she thinks so) having men look at you and say "she's hot"..Jon had enough, now it's his time to spread his wings. I feel after he has his "time" things will calm down, and they both will be "normal"single parents.. It just sucks because it's the kids who will pay for both their actions.
well well well, when you expose your self on TV, you take away your privacy. Fame+Money=Most cases seperation. ex:Nick and Jessica simpsons, Carmen Electra show, and more. Now, the question is either you like money or family! They choose money. And they forgot about their beautiful children. Well I am sure one day after this show goes to the freezer and nobody will talk about it, then they will realize what stupid thing they have done and they will be sorry. Their story is different from the rest of us, and I thing god put them together for a reason. Kate and Jon please think about your children and get back together.
