LOS ANGELES, California (x17online) - Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest on his 51st birthday according to his father Joe.
The elder Jackson told the NY Daily News the family has recently agreed to bury MJ on August 29th at Forest Lawn Cemetery in the Hollywood Hills.
Jackson's body has reportedly been kept at Forest Lawn while a final resting place was selected.

I don't think that he wanted to be buried at Neverland because it probably bought back too many bad memories. I just hope now that he is in peace and all, for the time he was alive he's hardly known a moment when he's been out of the media spotlight...and still after he's died we can't leave him alone. I suppose it shows the legacy of a true genious. I can't wait till his film OCTOBER 30TH I'll so be there. He will forever be the King of Pop, RIP Michael ~respect~
OK, so how ridiculous is this. He passed away June 25 but isn't being buried until 2 months later?!?!?! And the fact that it's on his birthday is yet another media stunt by his family. I didn't particularly like MJ's "art", and I never cared for his personal life but for heavens sake, have some respect, leave it alone and quit making a media circus over him.
hmmm...birth and burrial on the same day??? not necessarily a very good idea, in my opinion! so every year the date comes up, WOULD we be crying for his leave too soon out of this life OR celebrating his unique, supernatural, and genius touch over us all, for decades to last? THIS FATHER OF HIS, NOT A deep thinker, i'd say. RIP, MICHAEL! YOU WILL BE ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS AND MIND!
