LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Jon sat down for his first traditional tv interview since his divorce to speak out about the "abuse" he suffered from Kate during their marriage.
The father-of-eight told GMA, "I took a lot of abuse from her. I was put down."
He goes on to say that once they became famous, Kate was never around. "She'll call me like, almost like a lame fish. Like I wasn't going anywhere," Jon says. "Well, excuse me, I'm taking care of the kids. She's on book tours, she's doing all these things. You know, she's gone a week. You know, comes back. Packs up and leaves again. I'm standing there like, 'Oh, OK. Your mom's gone again.'"
Although things still remain rocky between the pair, they did put up a united front recently to send their kids off on their first day of school.

They are both incredibly immature, arrogant and ridiculous. You could see the marriage crumble before your eyes several years before it happened. For either one to think that none of this is going to impact their children in a negative way is astonishing. People I know that regularly watched the show always called her a "witch" and him a "baby." They are both proving those labels to be quite accurate.
EVERYONE needs to quit watching the show so the kids can get out of the cameras and their parents can stop making money off of them. It is quite obvious this marriage was over long ago and KATE has always put JON down. I think her EGO is now much much larger than anyone elses at this time.
Jon is a cry baby. Obviously he doesn't know what abuse is.. As far as I can see the abuse has been against his wife Kate and their children. By this I mean, any man who just leaves their family, acts like a teenager going through puberty, sleeping with anyone who will give him the time of day, is just disrespectful and abusive to his family. He was fired from two jobs, someone had to work and as he has said many times about the speaking engagements- He wasn't good at it, he didn't like public speaking or going on those trips and that Kate was great at it. Someone had/has to support the children. This guy just makes me crazy. He's a whinny ho bag. I hope he has an endless supply of penicillin because he surely needs it. He suffers from a low iq and a small blank. What a LOSER.
My wife met Kate at a Christian women's conference. She spoke about how great her marriage was, how blessed she was with her family, etc., all while this stuff was going on (before the media caught on to her lies). Then when my wife met her in person, she was totally rude and self-centered.
In marriage, the MARRIAGE must come first, not the kids. I'm not surprised it fell apart with this self-centered woman living as if she were the center of the universe.
totally agree with the post above me. Kate is the most self centered person I've ever heard of. She claims its all about the kids.. of course it is.. those kids are getting her some big bucks. She belittled her husband in front of millions of viewers, I saw this coming for a long time. She treated him like a dog. She's the dog! will someone PLEASE be brave enough to call her hair stylist and tell her its homely.. maybe her hair stylist hates her too!!
