LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Tiger Woods had an injury that sidelined him for 8 months and a highly publicized sex scandal, yet he's still the top earning athlete in the world.
According to Forbes, Tiger has earned $110 million during the past 12 months and is the highest paid sportsman for the eighth year in a row.
Tiger's knee injury caused his prize money to drop from $25 million from $5 million, but he only lost $5 million from his overall earnings due to his Gatorade drink and the success of Nike's golf division. Nike is still Tiger's biggest benefactor, paying him around $30 million a year.
