LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (X17online) - First lady Michelle Obama will be awarded by Nickelodeon for her Let's Move campaign, a program that aims to fight childhood obesity.
The kids' network will be honoring Mrs. Obama with the Big Help award at the Kids' Choice Awards. The President's wife has already taped a message for Saturday's show.
Nickelodeon has been working with Mrs. Obama on the campaign, already donating $3 million to school and after-school programs to promote physical activity.
The first lady will not be attending the awards show, which means she will be avoiding the green slime that is usually dumped on those in attendance.
The Kids' Choice Awards will feature performances by Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
