Michael Douglas' Son Gets Five Year Jail Sentence

MANHATTAN, New York (X17online) - Cameron Douglas, son of actor Michael Douglas, was sentenced to five years behind bars for his connection to a drug dealing incident. Just a few months ago in January, he pled guilty to dealing coke and meth.
In addition to serving time in prison, the Manhattan court judge has ordered that the 31-year-old pay a $25,000 fine and perform 450 hours of community service. Once he serves his five year sentence, Douglas will have to spend five more years in a supervised release program.
Michael Douglas, and Cameron's mother Diandra, were in court for the sentencing.
Once again, famous and or money buy judges, and others. While middle to low income people get the book thrown at them. Black, white, purple, blue, does not matter...Money talks. Sickening.
Poor Cameron, his famous father did not pay too much attention to him growing up. His step mother claims he's a good brother. This is an insult to those of us who had no father in the picture. Were raised by single working mothers, or in foster care. Give me a break. How many are addicted because of this guy? He should have gotten the maxium sentence. As for Michael Douglas, the original, SEX ADDICT, he is still acting, getting face lifts, and he has 2 other children. Quit acting. You have enough money, why work, or your young enough to be your daughter wife. She makes movies. Oh, I forgot, Nannies raise your children, dah! Hollywood people are sickening, who feel they are "entitled" to special treatment. Oh, wait, "entitled" I just read that's what Tiger Woods felt, too. Pathetic sums it up better. Meanwhile, some young adult gets to do 10 years for far less.
The saddest part of all of this is the remarks from idiots that have no idea what they are talking about. Jealousy and envy are your problems...Michael Douglas and his family have worked hard for their success..His son Cameron made wrong choices and he can start making right choices from now on. That is what life is about. Learning from our mistakes. I hope Cameron and anyone else with problems rich or poor find grace and get going in the right direction...
