chasecrawford200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Chace Crawford, who was arrested in Texas earlier this month for marijuana possession, is set to star opposite Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener in the movie, Peace, Love and Misunderstanding.

What is being described as "a multi-generational indie film" will be directed by Bruce Beresford. The actor was set to star in the Footloose remake, but reportedly backed out due to conflicts with Gossip Girl's shooting schedule.

The plot is said to follow Keener's character who, after getting divorced, takes her kids to live with their hippie grandmother, played by Jane Fonda. As for Crawford, he'll play a "war-protesting butcher."

The movie is set to start production next month.

It was just pot, most people have tried it before and who has ever heard of pot ruining someone's life?? Drinking is worse than smoking by far.
