LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Gloria Stuart, who received an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actress in Titanic, has died.

Stuart, 100, who played Rose Calvert in James Cameron’s Titanic, passed away at her West Los Angeles home.

The actress, who was a big star from 1932 to 1946 ... made 46 films, however Titanic was considered her major comeback.

Although Stuart lost her Academy Award to Kim Basinger, she still remains the oldest nominated person for the Best Actress category.

Ms. Stuart is survived by her daughter, four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
