LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Beyonce's concert film, I Am ... World Tour, will be hitting 14 theaters in the U.S. on Thursday. The film, which was produced, edited and directed by Jay-Z's wife, will also air on ABC this Thanksgiving, and on November 26, will be released on DVD.
Theater companies like Mann Theaters, Carmike Cinemas and Landmark Theaters will team up with Screenvision for the release. The screenings will be free, but space will be limited.
The tour was seen in 32 countries during the summer of 2009, and over 1.1 million attended the show throughout its duration.
I Am will be seen in theaters throughout L.A., San Diego, Dallas, Houston and Atlanta.
