Demi Moore And Ashton Kutcher Fight Human Trafficking
Posted on Fri Nov 5, 2010 09:10 AM PDT

ashtondemiun.jpgNEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are supporting the launch of UN's effort to stop human trafficking worldwide.

At the U.N. Trust Fund for Victims of Human Trafficking event, Kutcher said the following:

“Help us spread the awareness and bring a spotlight on this atrocious issue. We are failing option-less victims.”

Human trafficking, which affects nearly 2.5 million people, is the focus of a new global action plan to gather resources in the fight against sexual exploitation and forced labor ... especially from children.

In addition to their efforts at the U.N., Kutcher and Moore have started the DNA Foundation, aka the Demi&Ashton Foundation, in the fight against sexual exploitation of girls from around the world.
