NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Whoopi Goldberg is ready to face The View controversy involving Fox's Bill O'Reilly. Goldberg appeared on The O'Reilly Factor to discuss the incident.

While O'Reilly was on The View last month, he said "Muslims killed us on 9/11,” which caused Joy Behar and Goldberg to walk off the set. As for her appearance on The O'Reilly Factor, their exchange went as follows:

Whoopi - “I said that I thought you did not realize how hurtful…”

O'Reilly - “You said that on the air, but I mean off the air."

Whoopi - “I said the same stuff off the air."

O'Reilly - “Were you cursing me out and stuff?”

Whoopi - “No, no, I heard myself say the B-word, and that’s when I knew had to get up. Ooh, I had to get up child.”

O'Reilly - “After I left, were you and Joy mad at me?”

Whoopi - “No, no. Because, at least for me, I know that if I cross a line, which I crossed, because I heard myself say something I had no business saying, I knew… I had to go."
