The Facebook film's Aaron Sorkin was awarded Best Screenplay, and David Fincher tied for Best Director with Olivier Assayas' film Carlos which was also runner-up in the best picture category
The Social Network is getting used to winning nominations. The hit film was named best picture by the N.Y. Films Critics Online and the Boston Society of Film Critics. Network also earned nine nominations from The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards including Best Picture, Best Actor: Jesse Eisenberg, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
