ORLANDO, Florida (X17online) - A nurse who was fired for looking at pro golfer Tiger Woods’ medical records in the days after his November 2009 car crash has filed a $400,000 suit against Health Central, an Orlando-area hospital, for defamation.

David M. Rothenberg is asking for a letter from hospital officials explaining he was fired based on circumstantial evidence. Officials say they fired the RN in December for using his computer to look at Woods’ records three times over a 10-minute period.

Rothenberg faces losing his nursing license because of the allegations, which he denies.
