CBS Makes Plans To Fill In Two And A Half Men Gap

charlie200new.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Charlie Sheen's personal issues have forced CBS to order additional episodes of their shows Mike and Molly and Rules of Engagement to cope with the actor's absence.

With Sheen seeking treatment, CBS may lose eight episodes of Two and A Half Men's 24-episode season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. To fill in the gap, the network will use the additional episodes ordered of Mike and Molly and Rules of Engagement.

A rep for CBS issued the following statement:

"Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing “Two and a Half Men” on production hiatus. We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision."

Stan Rosenfield tells THR: "I can say that all of us who know Charlie care about him very much. We will support him in any we can in this journey."

That statement, by Rosenfield S., reveals everyone needs a friend sometimes. After reading that, I smiled...happy to know people still can lean on good friends.
