NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Katie Couric's contract with CBS is up on June 4, and now the 54-year-old newswoman is expected to announce plans for a new talk show within the next week.
Couric, who has been anchoring the CBS Evening News for the past five years, is the mother of two daughters.
The former Today Show anchor has not announced her official plans for the talk show, nor has she identified which network she'll be working for.
Couric is best known for anchoring NBC's Today alongside Matt Lauer. She landed the spot on April 5, 1991.
