The network canceled Reiser's new show, The Paul Reiser Show, earlier this week after only two episodes. Ratings had been poor.
Reiser tried to find a friend in Leno. "NBC, to my knowledge, they don't traditionally make bad decisions," Reiser said. "Have you heard that? I don't know what your experience is."
Then, he appeared to show some maturity. "It turns out they said we enjoy missing you more than actually having you," Reiser joked. "But listen, I don't take it personally."
Before one final dig: "Listen, when you're the last place network, you don't want to jeopardize that," he said. "You've found your niche. Stay there."
Paul was awesome on "Mad About You" as well as his earlier show "My Two Dads". I didn't care for the "reality" theme of his new show but I'd LOVE to see him on a new sitcom!
Loved 'Mad About You' and 'My Two Dads'...would love to see more of that

Stop loving all the drivel and brain draining tv all nicely packaged under the giuse of reality tv....nothing "real" about it....it has so beome the norm to slap anything together and call it a show. It used to be soap operas now they are dying it's reality tv....that is replacing these shows....they all need to go away far far away.... look to your own life for reality not someones pseudio reality all packaged with a ribbon and a bow for you...thinking not required! That's great for the majority of America
