LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Universal has set the release date for Fast & Furious 6 as is Memorial Day (May 24) 2013.

Summer 2011's Fast Five had the biggest opening weekend in Universal Pictures history and will pass $600 million at the worldwide box office.

The sixth in the franchise will reunites its ensemble cast "for their most dangerous adventure yet", says the studio.

Star Vin Diesel will produce, and director Justin Lin will take on the series for the fourth time in a row.
