BreakingBadWalterWhite071811.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online)- Breaking Bad had nothing to worry about after being off the air for 13 months - the fourth season premiere aired last night to its highest ratings yet.

The AMC show, starring Bryan Cranston as Walter White and Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman, pulled in 2.6 million viewers, a 30% increase from season three's premiere in March 2010.

The show scored 1.45 million viewers in the coveted 18-49 demographic, over a quarter more than it had last year.

Breaking Bad also beat out fellow AMC drama Mad Men's fourth season numbers in a few demos, including 19% more adults 18-49, 56% more 18-34, and 142% more men 18-34.

Breaking Bad airs Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
