Meyer will produce Austenland, an indie romantic comedy that will star Keri Russell and will be directed by Jerusha Hess, who co-wrote Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre. This is Hess' directing debut.

Meyer has acted as a producer on the Twilight adaptations, but has never produced for any other movies. Like Twilight, Austenland is based on a book; Shannon Hale wrote the novel and Hale and Hess co-wrote the script.

Jennifer Coolidge and Jane Seymour will also star in the movie, which centers on a single, thirtysomething woman with a secret obsession with the Mr. Darcy character -- as played by Colin Firth in the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
