TALLAHASSEE, Florida (X17online) - Casey Anthony reported to probation Wednesday at 6 p.m., Department of Corrections spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger confirmed.
Anthony will serve a one-year term for her conviction in a check fraud case.
Anthony’s location will remain undisclosed in light of death threats placed against her following her controversial acquittal of murder charges in July.
"The court made a pretty strong statement talking about the fact that she's one of the most hated women in America," Plessinger stated at a press conference at the Department of Corrections in Tallahassee, Florida on Thursday.
Plessinger told reporters that Anthony was “polite and cooperative” and “intended to do well on probation.”
