New York Film Festival To Close With George Clooney's The Descendents

NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - The 49th New York Film Festival will feature The Descendants as its closing night film, as announced by The Film Society of Lincoln Center.
The movie, written and directed by Alexander Payne, stars George Clooney as Matt King, a land baron trying to reconnect with his daughters after his wife's boating accident. It also stars Judy Greer and Secret Life of the American Teenager's Shailene Woodley.
The festival runs from September 30-October 16. It will show 27 feature films and a program called On Cinema, which will feature an in-depth conversation with Payne.
