NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Michael Kors married longtime partner Lance LePere Tuesday.
The designer, 51, wed LePere in a private ceremony on Dune Beach in Southampton, N.Y., according to Women's Wear Daily.
The two met in the '90s when LePere was an intern for Kors' company. They decided to wed after same-sex marriage was legalized in New York state.
"To marry someone as wonderful and special to me as Lance barefoot on a glorious beach is more than I could have dreamed of," Kors told WWD.
In other wedding news, actress Amber Tamblyn, 28, is engaged to her boyfriend, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret star David Cross, 47. They reportedly started dating in 2008 but didn't step out publicly until 2009.
