ABC Picks Up Original Story By Novelist Nicholas Sparks

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - ABC has picked up an original story idea by novelist Nicholas Sparks for a new drama series, Deadline is reporting.
Best known for his novel The Notebook, Sparks's TV drama - entitled The Watchers - follows “a fallen angel looking for his mortal love.”
ABC Studios and Twilight producer Temple Hill will produce the series.
