LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) -- Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger have closed deals to star in The Expendables 2, Deadline reports.
Action film The Expendables grossed $275 million worldwide. Schwarzenegger and Willis both made cameos in that film but will have more substantial roles this time around. Sylvester Stallone will star in the lead role again.
Stallone directed the first film, but will not direct the sequel. Filming begins in October.
This is another step for Schwarzenegger in reviving his film career. Willis also has Die Hard 5 underway.
Expendables cast members Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews and Jet Li are all expected to return for the sequel, and rumor has it Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme may appear as well.
