LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Fox’s New Girl debuted as Tuesday’s highest-rated show.
The comedy, starring Zooey Deschanel, drew 10.11 million viewers, beating out the season premieres of Glee (8.9 million) and Raising Hope (6.8 million). New Girl was especially popular among the highly coveted 18-49 demographic, with an impressive 4.8 rating/12 share.
New Girl proved to be Fox's highest-rated series premiere since Bernie Mac in 2001.
