LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Johnny Depp is in talks to play Dr. Seuss in an upcoming flick, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Depp is already on board to produce a live-action Dr. Seuss movie, which is being developed under Illumination Entertainment and will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
Though no official casting announcement has been made, the actor - who has already portrayed fantastical literary characters including the Mad Hatter and Willy Wonka - would be a logical choice for the role of Dr. Seuss.
