LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Fast Five was the most pirated film of 2011.
In TorrentFreak’s list of the year’s most-pirated movies - based on the number of illegal downloads on BitTorrent – Fast Five led the pack with 9.3 million illegal downloads.
The action flick was trailed by The Hangover Part II (8.8 million illegal downloads) and Thor (8.3 million illegal downloads).
In more positive news for filmmakers: the average number of illegal film downloads on BitTorrent decreased significantly since 2010.
