LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Alan Taylor will direct Thor 2.
The Game of Thrones director will replace original Thor director Patty Jenkins, who was initially on board to direct the sequel but pulled out in early December.
Chris Hemsworth will reprise his leading role as Marvel Comics superhero Thor.
Thor 2 is scheduled for a November 13, 2013 release.
