LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - MTV has plans to revive Punk’d, with original creator Ashton Kutcher on board.

Punk’d, which first aired from 2003 to 2007, is a hidden camera reality show that pranks – or “punks” – celebrities.

Kutcher will executive produce alongside Lauren Dolgen, Colin Nash, Kristina Edwards, Jennifer Russakoff, and his original partner Jason Goldberg. Given his commitment to CBS’ Two and a Half Men, it is unlikely that he will return to his hosting duties this time around.

MTV will give viewers a sneak peak of the reincarnated show during its New Year’s Eve special on the night of January 31st.
