LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Wife of Law & Order star Terrence Howard filed a temporary restraining order against him in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday morning.
Michelle Ghent alleges that Howard abused and threatened to kill her throughout their short-lived marriage.
Howard subsequently filed a rebuttal denying her allegations and claiming that Ghent blackmailed him with “private materials” that she would release to the public if he failed to pay her off.
Howard has been ordered to remain out of contact and 100 yards away from Ghent before their scheduled court hearing on Jan. 17.
