LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Chris Colfer will return to Glee next season despite his character’s graduation from William McKinley High School.

Fox’s President of Entertainment Kevin Reilly put rumors to rest that a Glee spinoff would follow characters’ transition from high school, but Colfer hinted to TheInsider.com that Glee’s post-grads – also including Rachel (played by Lea Michele) and Finn (played by Cory Monteith) - would still have a place in the popular series.

“A lot of people are sad there won’t be a spinoff but I think they're going to be very very excited to find out what's in store – I'm very excited by it,” he shared. “Ryan [Murphy]'s idea is kind of revolutionary. It's the best of both worlds. Everyone is going to like it.”
