LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Clear Channel is venturing into TV with an investment in Ryan Seacrest Productions.

The radio conglomerate has acquired a minority stake in the production company owned by Ryan Seacrest, who already serves as a Clear Channel host, producer, and spokesperson.

“Ryan is an unmatched creative talent with success across more media platforms and involvement with a greater variety of programming and venues than anyone else in the industry,” Clear Channel CEO Bob Pittman said in a statement.

Ryan Seacrest Productions is best known for producing the Kardashian TV franchise – comprised of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, and Khloe and Lamar – and is currently producing reality series Shahs of Sunset for Bravo and Melissa and Tye: A New Reality for CMT.
