LOS ANGELES, California (X17online ) - Michelle Obama’s guest appearance on iCarly will air on January 16, Nickelodeon has announced.

In the episode, Obama praises Carly Shay, daughter of an Air Force colonel, for her support of the U.S. military.

The First Lady’s guest spot is part of an effort on behalf of Nickelodeon and the White House to demonstrate support for U.S. military families.

Prior to the January 16 air date, iCarly cast members will attend four screening events around the country for military families.
