LOS ANGELES, California (x17online) - On Tuesday night, Tom Cruise was honored with the fourth ever Friars Club Entertainment Icon Award at a reception in New York City.

Alec Baldwin hosted the event, held at the Waldorf Astoria, which included former co-stars like Cuba Gooding Jr. and Kevin Pollak.

In addition to be honored with the prestigious award, the actor took in a highlight reel of his film career and a performance by the Broadway cast of Rock of Ages, the inspiration for his upcoming film in which he stars.
