LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to OK! Magazine and Us Weekly, Ashlee Simpson, 23, is pregnant with her rocker boyfriend Pete Wentz's baby.
Simpson and Wentz, 28, announced their engagement Wednesday (April 9, 2008).
"We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple," Rhett Usry told X17online. "Beyond that there is nothing to say."
Wentz, of the alternative band Fall Out Boy, have been dating since 2006.
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Ashlee Simpson called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show on KIIS FM this morning and she discussed her upcoming album release and the details of her engagement to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, but she continued to side-step the pregnancy rumors.
Simpson, 23, said she was in love with Wentz when she was making her new album, and even said, "I didnt know that I'd be getting married right now...I'm a lucky girl!" When Seacrest asked how Wentz proposed, Simpson responded that it was a secret but that he was "thoughtful and he did a great job." Seacrest also asked about Simpson's beautiful engagement ring, to which she replied, "its definitely a big diamond...oh my god, I can't believe this is on my hand!"
Simpsons parents, Tina and Joe approve of her fiance - Ashlee told Seacrest, "My mom loves Pete, so does my dad."
Seacrest tried to get some inside scoop from Simpson at the end of the phone interview when he asked her "Will you get married soon?" Simpson giggled and said, "I can't tell my secret!" He then asked her if she would go drinking tonight - a sneaky attempt to confirm the pregnancy rumors, and Simpson giggled again and said "maybe."
Simpson's latest CD, Bittersweet World will be released next Tuesday, April 22.

Tents are currently being erected on the property and delivery trucks are making their way in to Joe and Tina Simpson's gated community in the San Fernando Valley.

Prior to meeting up at the Roosevelt, Wentz dined at Mr. Chow with his father and soon to be father-in-law, Joe Simpson, while his fiancee was spotted with several friends, including Nicole Richie at Kiki de Montparnasse, a trendy lingerie store on Melrose Avenue. The wedding is set to take place on Saturday at Simpson's parents' house in Encino, California.
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Pete Wentz talked to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show this morning for the first time since his wedding to Ashlee Simpson on Saturday. The Fall Out Boy singer discussed married life, the honeymoon and also confirmed that he and Ashlee Simpson "have signed a pre-nup."
Wentz joked that he and Simpson are holed up in their basement in Los Angeles with "blow up palm trees." When asked if they would have an official honeymoon, Wentz did say yes, and he also reported that Simpson is "very happy" and has legally changed her last name to Wentz.
Seacrest asked about baby names, and then suggested that Wentz has a baby on the way, to which Wentz laughed and responded, "Ryan, this baby has not been confirmed."
When asked about Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo, Wentz said, "I don't know anything about what's going on with them...I'm so busy clearing up my own rumors!"
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz are having a girl, according to Star Magazine. After months of speculation, the couple finally announced they were expecting in late May, shortly after they got married.
An insider tells the magazine:
"The doctor told them they actually conceived the baby just before Valentine's Day while they were on vacation and has given them an initial due date of Oct. 31. When Pete heard he might have his baby on Halloween, he went nuts. For an emo-rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect!"

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Jessica Simpson says her sister Ashlee is so ready to give birth, she's trying to induce labor.
"They're going to have to. It's already developing really quick," People Magazine reports Jessica said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show taped Monday .
Jessica went on to say that Ashlee – described by husband Pete Wentz more than two weeks ago as due at any moment – has already tried other ways to begin labor.
"Different foot massages and stuff," Jessica told DeGeneres in the show airing Wednesday. "I don't know. I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now."
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Ashlee Simpson is currently at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where the 24-year-old singer is expected to be giving birth to her first child sometime today.
Ashlee's assistant and father Joe Simpson showed up at the hospital about an hour ago, and husband Pete Wentz and Simpson's sister Jessica are believed to be inside with her right now.
It's believed that Ashlee arrived at the hospital around 5am this morning, and doctors induced labor shortly afterwards.
Details of the delivery have yet to be confirmed.

Simpson and husband Pete Wentz have named their first child Bronx Mowgli. The baby weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
A Publicist for the couple said in a statement: "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have reportedly agreed to appear in a upcoming episode of "CSI: New York."
According to Entertainment Weekly, the couple will play "Bonnie and Clyde" wannabes.
The episode is set to air on March 18th on CBS.

The singer/actress will reportedly play Violet, who Entertainment Weekly describes as "a character whose disarming naiveté masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within."
Simpson will be joined by Katie Cassidy (as ambitious publicist Ella), Michael Rady (as aspiring filmmaker Jonah).
Original Melerose Place star Heather Locklear, is also reportedly in negotiations to join the series.
"Both sides are talking," whispers my Melrose mole of Locklear. "It's looking good."

A source tells Star Magazine that Ashlee Simpson is few weeks pregnant with her second child with husband Pete Wentz.
Apparently Ashlee is "beyond thrilled" with news, and "she loves Pete and wants to hang on to him. She believes this second baby will really clinch the deal."
The Star reports, however, that Pete isn't so thrilled. "He loves Ash and Bronx, but he also loves his freedom. He thinks a second kid could change things for the worse. He doesn't want to be tied down and stuck at home all the time."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Ashlee Simpson made her Broadway debut last night as Roxie Hart in Chicago, and it looks like she's completely moved on after getting the boot from the CW's Melrose Place.
Older sister Jessica Simpson, along with Ashlee's husband Pete Wentz came out to support her, and Jessica even tweeted, “Roxie was all Heart! Watching her up on that grandiose stage made me the proudest sister in the world. I love ya honey, I love ya!. Grrrrrrr.”
Ashlee performed at the the Ambassador Theatre in NYC, and the production will run until February 7, 2010.
