Corey Haim's Cause Of Death Revealed
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Los Angeles County Coroner's office has confirmed that actor Corey Haim died of natural causes. A drug test was conducted during the investigation and it "revealed no significant contributing factors" in his death.
The coroner says three things contributed: pneumonia, damage to the air sacs in his lungs and hardening of his heart muscle with plaque build up within the blood vessels.
On March 10, the 38-year-old actor collapsed at his mother's L.A. apartment after suffering from flu-like symptoms. A drug overdose was originally believed to be the cause of death, but the coroners have now confirmed that drugs were not involved.
Haim was buried on March 16 in Toronto.
