LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Daniel Craig, best known for his roles as James Bond 007, will star in the upcoming thriller, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Craig, 42, will play a middle-aged journalist in the film. David Fincher's Dragon Tattoo will be made into a trilogy, with the first part hitting theaters December 21, 2011.
Casting for the other roles, including the leading lady, have already begun.
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) MGM has given the 23rd James Bond film in the series a release date and has also secured Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace star Daniel Craig to reprise his role as James Bond.
In addition to Craig's return, Dame Judi Dench will reprise her role as M, and Sam Mendes will be directing the flick. Michael Sheen is being considered for the villain’s role, and potential Bond girls have not yet been announced.
The untitled film will be released worldwide on November 9, 2012.
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) -The James Bond franchise is getting some new blood - Welsh actor Rhys Ifans has just signed on to the tentatively titled Bond 23.
The film is being directed by Sam Mendes and will star Daniel Craig as Bond for a third time.
Also returning to the franchise is Judi Dench as Bond's boss M. In addition, Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes have both been confirmed - though their roles haven't been fully disclosed yet - and Naomi Harris will play M's assistant Moneypenny.
Ifans is best known for his role as Hugh Grant's friend in Notting Hill. But the actor has worked with Craig before - the two starred in Enduring Love together, with Rhys playing Craig's character's stalker.
LONDON, UK (X17online) - Daniel Craig is reportedly in talks to star as James Bond in five more installments of the franchise.
James Bond producer Michael G. Wilson revealed to UK newspaper The People that he planned to discuss the prospect with Craig, 43, sometime in the near future. If he accepts, it would make him the longest-serving Bond of all time.
“Filming has gone very well and I'd love Daniel to surpass Roger's [Moore] record and do eight pictures," Wilson shared with the newspaper.
Craig is currently filming the 23rd Bond installment, titled Skyfall.
