Daniel Radcliffe daniel-radcliffe200.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe sat down with Details and talked about his work, his goals and even opened up about his personal life.

On his dream role:
"I think part of me would love to play a drag queen, just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye makeup."

On having a girlfriend:
"Most of my friends have been girls, and I see how they are with their boyfriends and I think, I couldn't do that. I just don't have the time."

On his extracurricular activities:
"I don't pretend to do anything particularly wild. People talk about rebellion and they say, 'Where is the teenage angst?' But I say I try to do it simply by the choices I make in the work I do. I just like wrong-footing people. I write poetry and I love it. I like being different from most other people in my generation."

Harry Potter Continues To Break Records Worldwide

HarryPotterAndTheDeathlyHallowsPart2071811_230.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The final Harry Potter film is off to a record-breaking start. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 grossed $475.6 million worldwide, including $307 million overseas, over its five day opening.

Though it just opened, the eighth flick is already the most successful one in the franchises' history - it now holds the biggest first day and opening weekend records, both domestically and internationally.

Deathly Hallows Part 2 opened in 20,000 theaters in 59 foreign countries and made twice as much overseas as it did domestically, where the movie raked in $168.6 million.

It also broke the opening weekend record that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides only set this past May when it made $260.4 million internationally over five days in 65 markets.

The only place the flick slightly faltered was in 3D sales, at least in the United States - it had the largest 3D opening ever in 3100 screens but was only seen in that format by 43% of moviegoers.

The top earner overseas is currently Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 - it grossed $659 internationally, twice what it made in the U.S. Part 2 is already on its way to breaking that record.
