LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Though it was reported earlier that Elizabeth Taylor was put on life support after suffering congestive heart failure, her representative has denied the claims. Longtime publicist Dick Guttman told E! News, "Ms. Taylor is fine. The rumors which began in England about her health are dramatic, overstated and untrue. Her hospital visit was precautionary. She will be returning home shortly. At present, she is surrounded by family, friends and fabulous jewels."

The two time Academy Award-winning actress, who is confined to a wheelchair due to osteoporosis, was reportedly taken to the hospital on July 15 and diagnosed with pneumonia, according to the National Enquirer.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Living Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor was spotted having an early dinner with friends at The Abbey in West Hollywood on Tuesday evening.

The wheelchair bound 76-year-old was dressed in a black cowboy hat, fur coat and shiny black boots.

After her early meal, the two-time Oscar winner showed her frailty as she was carefully lifted into her chauffeur-driven car to return to her Beverly Hills home.

The actress is rarely seen in public these days, but when she does venture out she is often seen at The Abbey.

During her nights out at The Abbey, the Dame is said to enjoy tequila shots and apple martinis, according to sources inside the restaurant.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Dame Elizabeth Taylor is in a Los Angeles hospital, Cindy Adams of the NY Post reports.

The legendary actress was brought there yesterday from her home in Bel Air, and there is no word yet on her condition, but it's being reported that stress following the death of her longtime friend Michael Jackson has taken its toll on Taylor.

She's reportedly suffering "weakness, tiredness, exhaustion, emotional draining. She hasn't stopped crying. She and Michael were devoted to one another."

Adams also reports the Jackson family denied Taylor access to their funeral pews and barred her from the events because "she was Michael's friend, not theirs."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Elizabeth Taylor is telling her fans that a movie based on her life and love affair with Richard Burton isn't going to happen ... at least while she's alive.

Taylor, 78, addressed those rumors via Twitter with the following statement:

“Hold your horses world. I’ve been hearing all kinds of rumours about someone being cast to play me in a film about Richard and myself, No one is going to play Elizabeth Taylor, but Elizabeth Taylor herself. Not at least until I’m dead, and at the moment I’m having too much fun being alive…and I plan on staying that way. Happiness to all.”

According to casting rumors, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angelina Jolie were in the running to star in the film as Taylor. The rumored movie was to be based on a book about Taylor and Burton ... written by Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger.

GLENDALE, California (X17online) - Legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor was buried today at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Taylor died of congestive heart failure at the age of 79.

Five black stretch limos were seen entering the memorial park. At today's service, her four children, as well as 10 grandchildren, paid their final respects.

Just yesterday, friend Elton John dedicated the song "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" to Taylor at his Pennsylvania concert. John told the audience:

"Today I lost a friend and you lost a hero named Elizabeth Taylor. She was not just a movie star, although she was a huge movie star and there will never be anyone like her again ... She was without a doubt one of the greatest people I've ever met in my life. God bless you, Elizabeth. God knows how we're going to replace you. This is for you and your beautiful memory and for all the people you helped and saved."

A public service for Taylor will reportedly take place at a later time.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Famous auction house Christie's is preparing a worldwide tour an auction of some of Elizabeth Taylor's most prized possessions.

Her jewelry, clothes, accessories, art pieces and memorabilia will display on a three-month international tour beginning in September.

The tour will culminate in New York in December with a 10-day exhibition that will take up Christie's entire Rockefeller Center gallery. Then, there will be four days of auctions -- Dec. 13-16.

A portion of proceeds from the tour and auction will be donated to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
