LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actor Ethan Hawke and his pregnant fiancee, Ryan Shawhughes, are preparing to get married, according to the New York Post.

Sources for the newspaper spotted the couple at the Municipal Building on Centre Street yesterday morning applying for their marriage license and one eyewitness said, "They looked really sweet."

Shawhughes was Hawke's former nanny while the actor was married to Uma Thurman, with whom he has two children, Maya Ray, 9, and Levon Roan, 6.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Though it's been reported that Ethan Hawke and his girlfriend, Ryan Shawhughes obtained a marriage license in early June, Hawke's publicist has confirmed to X17online that the couple were married a few weeks ago in NYC.

Shawhughes is currently pregnant with the couple's first child together, and she met the actor when she worked as a nanny for him and his previous wife, Uma Thurman, with whom he has two children, Maya Ray, 10, and Levon Roan, 6.

The couple met when Shawhughes worked as a nanny for Hawke and his previous wife, Uma Thurman, with whom he has two children, Maya Ray, 10, and Levon Roan, 6. Hawke and Shawhughes were married in late June in New York City.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Ethan Hawke is planning a return to TV in a new cop drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Entitled Blue Tilt, the show will follow a pair of homicide detectives, played by Hawke and Vincent D’Onofrio, as they balance their work and family lives.

NBC and Universal TV are developing the show, and Hawke and D’Onofrio will both executive produce.
