LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Variety, Oscar winning actress and new mother Halle Berry will star in and produce the psychological thriller Frankie and Alice for the Toronto based company Access Motion Pictures.

The film is about a young woman battling multiple personality disorder who is torn between who she is and a racist Caucasian alter-ego. No production start date has been set.

Berry, 41, gave birth to her daughter, Nahla Ariela Aubry on March 16.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kanye West, Alicia Keys and Halle Berry were the big winners at the Black Entertainment Television Awards in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

West took home two awards for both best male hip hop artist and best collaboration for his single "Good Life," while Missy Elliott won best female hip hop artist. Chris Brown took home the best male R&B artist award and Grammy winner Alicia Keys snagged the best female R&B artist award.

West brought rapper Lil Wayne onstage when he accepted his award for best male hip hop artist, and praised his fellow nominee for being his biggest competition. Lil Wayne did the same for West when he accepted the viewers' choice award for "Lollipop."

Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry won the best actress award, and fellow Oscar-winner Denzel Washington took home the best actor award.

D.L. Hughley hosted the ceremony and performers included Usher, Keyshia Cole, Rihanna, Kanye West and Young Jeezy.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry made her first public appearance with her 4-month-old daughter Nahla at the Los Angeles Zoo over the weekend.

Though exclusive photos of celebrity babies are worth millions of dollars (and a magazine cover), Berry is one of the only stars in recent history who has decided not to sell her baby's pictures. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sold the exclusive first photos of their newborn twins Vivienne and Knox for a staggering $14 million, and many other celebrities in recent months have done the same, including Matthew McConaughey, Jamie Lynn Spears and Jessica Alba.

Additionally, X17online scored the first pictures of Halle wearing a diamond ring on her left hand, sparking rumors of an engagement to boyfriend (and Nahla's father) Gabriel Aubry.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Halle Berry has reportedly purchased a house in St. Hippolyte, Quebec, according to Canada.com.

Berry's partner, model Gariel Aubry, is from Montreal.

The million-dollar home sits on 63 acres of land overlooking Molson Lake.

Aubry, who is the father of Berry's daughter, has family who live near-by.

"It feels great," Aubry said. "Anything we can do in our own hometown is always a good feeling.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Halle Berry made an appearance on The Jay Leno Show last night, and though it's been rumored that the actress is pregnant with her second child, those reports seemed to be put to rest.

Not only did Halle wear a body hugging black dress to show off her lack of a baby bump, but she also told Jay that she was not with child.

When Jay complimented Halle and told her how lovely she looked, she responded, "Thanks, Jay...because that must mean all those pregnancy rumors can be put to bed!" She added, "I was getting a complex. I was like, 'I gotta' stop with the burgers or something!'"

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Halle Berry is getting ready to show her love of shoes in the upcoming movie Shoe Addicts Anonymous.

The film, based on a novel by Beth Harbison, revolves around four Chicago women from different backgrounds who are obsessed with shoes ... and happen to also wear the same size. After forming a support group for her fear of being out in public, Berry's character bonds with the other ladies over footwear ... while trying to beat her shopping addiciton at the same time.

This is Berry's first comedy since Bulworth. Shoe Addicts Anonymous will be directed by Paul Weiland.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, and Ashton Kutcher are in negotiations to star in Valentine's Day follow-up New Year's Eve. They will join rumored cast Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, and Zac Efron. Glee's Lea Michele and Abigail Breslin have already signed on for the film, and Gary Marshall will direct.

The movie centers around the lives of several couples and singles in New York, and how they intertwine over the course of New Year's Eve.

The film is set to begin shooting mid-December in New York.
