LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, along with five crew members of Oliver Stone's latest film, W, were arrested early Saturday after a bar fight in Shreveport, Louisiana, according to the Associated Press.

Shreveport Police Sergeant Willie Lewis said the individuals were arrested just after 2am on Saturday at a bar called the Stray Cat. The Shreveport Times reports that Brolin was booked and posted $334 cash bond, but police did not say whether he or the others had been released.

Calls to Brolin's publicist were not immediately returned.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Prosecutors in Louisiana have agreed to a plea deal that will dismiss charges against Josh Brolin for his role in a bar scuffle last year.

Brolin was arrested on July 12 in Shreveport, La for interfering with police who were called to break up a bar fight. Brolin was in the city shooting scenes for the movie "W."

Under the terms of the agreement, the charges will be dismissed if Brolin stays out of trouble until March 11th.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Josh Brolin is gearing up to direct, produce, and star in a film adaptaion of the 1979 play Pitz and Joe at Warner Bros next year.

Dominique Cieri wrote the play in 1979 after her older brother broke his neck in an accident. The play centers around the misfortunes of a young man with brain damage from an accident. His sister tries to coax him into believing that life is still worth living.

Brolin is currently shooting Men in Black 3, set to be released in 2012.
