LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kate Hudson graces the cover of People's 19th annual special issue featuring the "100 Most Beautiful" stars of 2008.

In an exclusive sit down interview, Hudson tells the magazine about her beauty secrets, her relationship with Owen Wilson ("It's personal."), her ex husband Chris Robinson, and answers the burning question about why son Ryder's hair is so long. "Why is it so weird? My son likes his hair. He likes his hair long because it's like his father's," she tells the magazine. Hudson also opens up about how she shed nearly 70lbs after giving birth to Ryder, and how she quit smoking, "I quit New Years, cold turkey. I'm so happy."

People also talked with Hudson about being compared to her mom, Goldie Hawn, and the actress said, "Oh gosh, if I look anything like she does when I'm 60, I'm going to be a very happy, happy lady. She's a beautiful woman and an amazing mother."

"I've never been a big makeup person," says Hudson. "I'd go to school with my zit medicine on. That's how much I didn't care. I think it's why all the popular girls had a problem with me." Hudson is one of 11 stars in the issue, including Brooke Shields, Vanessa Hudgens and Kristen Bell who posed without wearing any makeup except untinted moisturizer and lip balm.

The "100 Most Beautiful" issue also pays tribute to a group of celebs who have made the list so many times, they're in the "Hall of Fame." Nicole Kidman (who has made the list 9 times), talks to People for the first time about her pregnancy. "Being pregnant is one of the most profound experiences...I'm realizing the power and the beauty of being wholly responsible for nurturing, feeding. My blood is running through this little person and bringing it to life. So it's not necessarily that I feel beautiful, it's that I feel a purpose." Joining Kidman in the "Hall of Fame" are Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey, Halle Berry (who has made the list 12 times) and George Clooney.

"The New Classics" is a list of 2008's fab faces who put a twist on tradition. Miley Cyrus kicks off the list as "The Phenom" and she says, "what I've learned is that you don't have to be stuck to being one thing. When I do change my look, I think it's fun." Joining Cyrus on the list are Ashton Kutcher (The Practical Joker), Kate Beckinsale (The Brit Import), Christina Applegate (The Comeback Kid), and Sarah Silverman (The Funny Honey).

The "Heating Up" list is another new category that gives a nod to the new talents, rising stars and the next generation of Hollywood beauty. Celebrities such as Rumor Willis (The It Girl), Amanda Beard (The Olympian), Anna Friel (The Cult favorite), Jason Taylor (The Dancing Defensive End), and George Clooney's girlfriend, Sarah Larson (The Newbie) all made the list. When asked if she feels more beautiful when she's in love, Larson says, "Doesn't everybody?"

Also included in the issue are David Beckham, Rihanna, Ashton Kutcher, Beyoncé Knowles, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Norah Jones, Josh Groban, Tina Fey, Vanessa Williams, Mariska Hargitay and Marcia Cross. The entire cast of Gossip Girl is featured in the issue as well as the ladies of MTV's hit show The Hills, Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and Heidi Montag.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kate Hudson's newest project is the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, Nine, according to the New York Post. Hudson reportedly beat out Sienna Miller and Anne Hathaway for the role of Stephanie, a journalist for Vogue Magazine who shares a sexy dance routine with the protagonist, Guido Contini, played by Oscar-winner Daniel Day-Lewis.

Other actors who comprise the star-studded cast include Oscar-winners Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench and Sophia Loren, as well as Oscar-nominee Penelope Cruz.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have broken up after dating for three months, according to Us Weekly.

A source close to the couple tells the magazine, "There was no drama or ugliness – They just decided to end things. There is no hatred, just sadness."

The two went public with their romance in May, but kept quiet and for the most part avoided the press. Hudson introduced Armstrong to her mother, Goldie Hawn, in early July, and the couple even introduced their children to one another.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kate Hudson partnered up with hair guru David Babaii to make eco-friendly hair products for Wildaid, but 220 Laboratories is suing the actress, claiming that she took their secret recipe to a competitor when it came time to produce the goods.

According to E! Online, in a complaint filed on Friday, 220 Laboratories is taking 17 causes of action against Hudson and Babaii, including fraud, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets and conspiracy to interfere with prospective business advantage, among other charges. 220 Laboratories claims Hudson and Babaii verbally agreed that the lab would serve as the sole providers of the line's raw materials, but after Wildaid switched around their management, Hudson and Babaii ditched them for a cheaper competitor. The lab is seeking compensatory and punitive damages as well as interest.

Kate's publicist Brad Cafarelli told E! Online:

"Kate and her attorneys are only just learning of the complaint, as Kate has not yet been served. Kate does not know the plaintiffs and has never met with them or spoken with them. Her representatives believe that the claims are baseless and without merit and intend to vigorously defend the lawsuit."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kate Hudson has been spending time with former boyfriend Owen Wilson, X17online has confirmed.

Hudson's black SUV has been spotted arriving at Wilson's Malibu home on several occasions. Hudson's son, Ryder has accompanied her on a number of visits.

An X17 photographer tells X17online, "Kate has been coming religiously. She's here at least a couple times a week and she's been sunbathing in the back yard, hanging out by the pool."

Hudson and Wilson broke up in August 2007 after dating for about 9 months.
