LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart is set to take on the role of Joan Jett in the upcoming film "The Runaways," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

But first, Stewart will reprise the role of "Bella" in "New Moon," the first of two planned "Twilight" sequels.

"The Runaways" tells the story of the all-girl hard rock band of the same name. The band was brought together in late 1975 by impresario Kim Fowley, who thought a novelty act of teenaged girls performing in leather and lace would be an easy sell, but the girls ended up proving to be serious and influential musicians with songs like "Cherry Bomb."

Jett continued her rock career into the '80s, forming the Blackhearts, who recorded hits such as "I Love Rock N' Roll" and "I Hate Myself for Loving You."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart says she and co-star Robert Pattinson are not romantically involved, but that they are "good friends."

Addressing the rumors of a romance, Stewart tells Nylon magazine, “It’s just totally false… Rob and I are good friends."

Stewart does say that all of the attention focused on them following the release of the movie has formed a special bond.

"We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him. And it’s like, I know this guy really f**king well [laughs]. It’s only natural that we’re sort of leaning on each other, because we’re put in the most f**king psychotic situations,” Stewart says.

Stewart says that she is dating. She refused to identify her boyfriend only saying he's older than she is and he's "awesome."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - MTV will air the full "New Moon" trailer tonight at the 2009 Movie Awards but the music television channel gave a sneak peek at the clip early, on their website.

The few seconds they released show the beginning of a steamy kiss between Robert Pattinson's character Edward and Kristen Stewart's character Bella. It's what "Twilight" fans have been waiting for!

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - An exclusive video shot by X17online shows Kristen Stewart's mom and dad with Robert Pattinson, providing more evidence that the on-screen couple is a couple off-screen as well.

The video show's Stewart's parents with the "Twilight" star in the courtyard of The Charlie Hotel as an SUV arrives to take him to the airport.

Pattinson can be seen talking with Stewart's mother, who then gives him a big hug and runs her fingers through his trademark tresses.

Kristen is briefly seen, apparently hiding from the paparazzi, behind the SUV.

The "Twilight" stars have long denied there is any off-screen romance between them.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - 'New Moon' co-stars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning may have wrapped on the 'Twilight' sequel but they're still working together.

The pair were spotted Monday in Santa Monica where they are beginning rehearsals for 'The Runaways' a bio-pic about a girl band from the '70s led by Joan Jett.

Stewart will be playing Jett and described her feelings about playing the rock-and-roll icon as an "insane concept."

"I'm going to give it all I've got," Stewart said.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were snapped at the Roxy on Sunset, and it looks like the young starlets were in no mood to be photographed.

When 15-year-old Dakota exited the club, she saw the cameras outside and ran back inside, only to emerge a few minutes later from another door. Dakota ducked into Kristen's mini cooper, and the two drove off - Kristen dropped Dakota off at her house, and then drove to her pad and called it a night.

The "New Moon" co-stars are now working on a biopic about the teen rock group "The Runaways."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Despite photos suggesting a romance with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson insists he's still a single guy.

In a recent interview with the UK's Daily Mirror, Pattinson says the stories about his romantic life are far from true.

"I don’t have a girlfriend. I don’t know why," Pattinson insists.

And apparently being one of the biggest movie stars on the planet doesn't help.

“You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you’re like ‘I’m a big movie star and I want to go out with some models’ but I don’t know why that doesn’t happen."

The 23-year-old also complains about life in Hollywood.

“It’s especially different in LA. Most of the women there are actresses and by default that makes them a little bit nuts – not that that’s a bad thing. But I don’t really have a type. Whenever I get asked who my favorite celebrity crush is, I have no idea."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart like to deny their relationship, but the chemistry between them in a new photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar says a thousand words.

Even in the accompanying interview, which the duo is careful not to admit to any romantic relationship, you can read between the lines and definitely see that they, as the interviewer says, "couldn't be closer."

In fact, reading their responses is like listening to two high schoolers in love!

When asked about Kristen, Rob replied, "She's a unique girl," who "intimidated" him when they first met. "You don't meet many people like Kristen."

As for Rob, Kristen says "He's a great singer. Heartbreaking."

The down-low couple went on to rate each other in terms of who is more romantic, (Rob), egotistical (Rob), spends the most time on their hair (Rob) and who is more athletic (Kristen.)

The highly anticipated sequel to Twilight, New Moon, will be in theaters November 20th.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been careful to avoid any admissions that they're a couple offscreen as well as onscreen, but last night they proved they were romantically involved when photogs caught them in an intimate moment, holding hands at Le Bourget airport in Paris.

Fans of the films have been speculating about their relationship ever since their steamy connection onscreen in the first film, but Rob and Kristen have gone to great lengths recently to hide it, making sure they're never photographed together and talking around the relationship in interviews. But yesterday, they seemed to be sending a message of a different kind.

Says one photog on the scene, "Kristen almost never smiles when she's photographed, but from the minute she arrived in Paris, she seemed lighter, happier. Maybe being in the most beautiful city in the world relaxed her, and she became tired of hiding." The photog continued, "She looked so calm and content with Rob's hand in hers, I think she finally decided not to fight it anymore and let her relationship live out in the open!"

With the Twilighters on a press tour of Europe for New Moon, perhaps Rob and Kristen will be even more inspired to stop fighting the rumors and reveal what fans have known from the beginning: that they're definitely a couple!

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - We already knew Kristen Stewart was playing a stripper in her latest flick Welcome to the Rileys, but we had no idea we'd be getting a peek at her bare bottom!

On the red carpet at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend, Kristen admitted that she was freaked out the first time she slipped into fishnets and worked the stripper pole, but she "really tried to own it." Kristen wanted to practice her pole dancing in her street clothes, but her stripping coach insisted that she do it in her character's scandalous attire. Kristen added, "My character's not sultry, not sexy. She sort of throws herself into all her moves. I tore myself up doing it."

In her first scene in the film, the Twilight starlet works the stripper pole in fishnets, platforms, a bra and a mini-skirt, and a little bit later we get a peek at her bare bottom. And it sounds like K. Stew really embraced her role! "I was able to walk around the streets," she said. "I was literally walking down the street in cut-off shorts and a robe that was cinched. I looked like a crackhead!"

LOS ANGELES, California (x17online) - The busy just get busier as Kristen Stewart is set to star and produce in the upcoming action film, Cali.

The movie focuses on Mya (Stewart) and Chris, a couple from San Fernando Valley who disappear after selling a fake snuff film, only to find themselves coming back to Cali to save her younger sister that she left behind.

The movie was written by Michael Diliberti (30 Minutes or Less) who is also attached to produce along with Craig J. Flores (300), Zev Foreman, and Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker) from Voltage Productions. New School Media's Brian Levy will serve as the executive producer along with Chartier and Stewart herself.

Cali is currently in the early stages of development with no release date set as of yet.
