LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - R. Kelly was acquitted of all child porn counts, a jury ruled today. Six years ago, the Grammy award-winning singer was busted for a sex tape that allegedly featured him performing inappropriate acts with an underage girl.

Kelly was charged with 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl; however, Kelly's attorneys argued the man on the tape didn't have a large mole on his back, as Kelly does.

Kelly wiped his face with a handkerchief and hugged his lawyers after the verdict was read. The singer could have faced up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - R&B singer R. Kelly was rushed to the hospital for emergency throat surgery Wednesday.

Doctors drained an abscess on one of Kelly's tonsils. The singer will be "laid up indefinitely" at the hospital, according to his publicist Allan Mayer said.

Kelly was treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He had been complaining of throat pains recently and was rushed to the hospital after a throat exam.

This is the latest in a string of problems for Kelly. Just last week, it was reported that Kelly is facing a $2.9 million foreclosure lawsuit on his mansion in the Chicago suburb of Olympia Fields, Ill.
