LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Richie Sambora is facing misdemeanor DUI and child endangerment charges stemming from his March 25 arrest, according to Entertainment Tonight. Police confirmed that that they have recommended both charges for the 48 year old musician.

No formal charges have been announced yet, and Sambora's court date has been scheduled for May 7, 2008.

On March 25, Sambora was pulled over after being spotted weaving across several lanes on the Pacific Coast Highwau in his black hummer. When the officer approached the vehicle, he smelled alcohol and after several field sobriety tests, the cops turned Richie's car over to his female passenger and arrested the rocker for driving under the influence.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Orange County prosecutors have charged musician Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs today, stemming from his arrest on March 25.

Sambora, 48, was caught swerving while driving in Laguna Beach with his daughter, another minor, and a an adult woman. He was not charged with child endangerment, as reports had speculated that he might be.

Sambora's hearing is scheduled for May 7; he is not required to appear.
