LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rihanna's representatives are denying internet reports that the singer collapsed during a performance in Syndey, Australia.

A widely seen video shows the "Disturbia" singer apparently becoming ill and leaving the stage during a performance with Chris Brown. But a spokesperson for Rihanna downplays the incident.

"It was very hot at the venue, so after Rihanna's set was over, she went off stage to sit down, catch her breath and have some water," her publicist confirmed to X17online. "She is perfectly healthy and will be at her show tomorrow."

Rihanna is scheduled to perform again tomorrow night in Syndey.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rihanna has cancelled a scheduled concert in Indonesia because of security concerns, according to the Associated Press.

A spokeswoman for the event organizer said the 20-year-old singer had been scheduled to perform before a sold-out crowd of 6,000 in the capital, Jakarta.

The decision to cancel the concert follows travel advisories issued after three Islamic militants were executed for planning the 2002 terrorist bombings in Bali.

The men called on followers to carry out revenge attacks if their deaths by firing squad were carried out.

Event organizers said they hoped the singer would reschedule the concert for another date.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A photographer for the St. Petersburg Times has filed a lawsuit against R&B singers Rihanna and Chris Brown, the newspaper reported Wednesday.

Luis Santana says he was at the Vintage Ultra Lounge on May 6 when he snapped a picture of Rihanna and Brown in the parking lot. Brown's body guards allegedly chased after Santana, knocked him down, took his camera and kicked him.

"I couldn't believe it was happening," the photographer said. "I've done this many, many times before and never have I ever gotten close to being grabbed. There's a dark side to celebrities and nightlife."

Brown was reportedly celebrating his birthday at the time of the incident.

"I don't think celebrities should be able to fly in to Tampa, beat up on our local newspaper photographers and get away with it," said Paul Kimsey, Santana's attorney. "He didn't do anything wrong."

Brown's attorney, Kenneth Meiselas, released a statement saying "neither Chris Brown nor his security was involved in the alleged incident."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - R&B star Chris Brown has been booked on suspicion of domestic violence felony battery after a 911 call was made just after midnight this morning following an argument with the singer. Brown left the scene, in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, before police arrived.

Brown has been dating fellow R&B/pop star Rihanna for just over a year, according to reports. Just after it was made public that a warrant was out for Brown's arrest, it was announced that Rihanna and Chris Brown would not be appearing at tonight's Grammy awards, as was planned. A Grammy spokesperson told reporters, Rihanna would not perform and that her face was "slightly bruised." Sources told Entertainment Tonight the singer sustained bruises in a car accident. X17online has since confirmed with the company that rented a silver Lamborghini to Brown, that the car was returned in perfect condition.

X17 photographers last spotted Brown and Rihanna together on Friday afternoon, shopping on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Then photographers spotted Brown on Saturday around 4 pm PT, leaving the London Hotel in West Hollywood, and headed to Burbank, driving erratically; he ran three red lights according to one photographer.

The incident occurred this morning just after midnight when, according to an LAPD report, Brown and the victim were fighting as they drove down North June Street in Hancock Park, eventually pulling over and stopping, where the fighting continued. According to the report, "The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."

A valet at the London Hotel told X17online the couple left the hotel this morning at 7:30 am PT, just hours after the alleged incident. Rihanna was wearing a beanie cap, large sunglasses, and black sweats.

X17online photographers saw Rihanna's car at Cedars Sinai hospital around 5 pm PT this evening. Meanwhile, Chris Brown turned himself in to the police at the Wilshire division of the Los Angeles Police Department around the same time. He was booked, held until 8:45 pm PT, and released. He was with his attorney, Mark Geragos, and was let go on $50,000 bail. He returned directly to the London Hotel with his bodyguard driving.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Rihanna is the victim who called 9-1-1 after allegedly being assaulted by R&B singer Chris Brown.

The 20-year-old singer had been with Brown earlier in the evening. The pair have been dating.

A publicist for Rihanna would not confirm, the Times report, saying only "Rihanna is well. Thank you for your concern and support."

Meantime, Radaronline.com reports on Brown's demeanor after he turned himself in at the LAPD's Wilshire station.

A source tells Radar: "Chris was with two detectives the whole time he was in custody. He was never with any other inmates. He looked fine when he spoke with detectives.
However, when the detectives left him alone, he looked at the ground and
closed his eyes. You could tell he was a little sad."

Brown and Rihanna both cancelled their scheduled performances at Sunday night's Grammy Awards.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - TMZ has confirmed Chris Brown is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon and that his victim was his girlfriend Rihanna.

The weapon is not described in the crime report obtained by TMZ.

The report lists the victim as Robyn Fenty, the real name of the singer Rihanna.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Following his arrest for felony criminal threats, Ads featuring Chris Brown have been pulled by Wrigley Gum, Us Magazine reports.

"Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown," a company spokesperson told Us.

"We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen.

"However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved," the statement continued.

Brown turned himself into the Los Angeles Police Department Sunday night. He's been charged with making felony criminal threats.

His girlfriend, Rihanna is believed to be the victim.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Life&Style magazine is reporting that Rihanna and Chris Brown may have been fighting 24 hours before police were called on Saturday night.

“I saw Chris Brown and Rihanna fighting at the Verizon party [at Boulevard 3 nightclub] on Friday night,” says the source.

“They were in this room and they were just screaming at each other, totally cussing each other out. They were screaming ‘F*** you,’ ‘No, f*** you’ at each other, back and forth. They were right in each other's face. It was scary. They were surrounded by all these execs and they were all just ignoring it, as if it was something they saw every day. It was so shocking. It's just so awful.”

There are conflicting reports that Rihanna may have suffered a broken jaw and/or nose in the incident. It is also being reported that the R&B does not want to press charges against Brown. However, since Police were called and injuries were visible, Rihanna may not have a choice in the matter.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that Rihanna's injuries are "horrific."

LAPD officers took pictures of injuries to the 20-year-old singer's face and arms following an alleged fight with boyfriend Chris Brown Saturday night.

Brown has been charged with making felony criminal threats.

Officials who've seen the photos of Rihanna's injuries say her face was swollen, her lip split and her nose bloodied. There were also bite marks on her arms and fingers.

Rihanna says Brown hit her with his fists, according to police.

Rihanna spent Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. According to E! News, a decoy was used as Rihanna made her way out the back exit of the hospital to avoid being photographed.

In the wake of the incident, Rihanna has postponed an upcoming concert scheduled for Friday in Kuala Lumpur. Concert promoters say the event will be rescheduled.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Another troubled R&B star is asking people not to judge singer Chris Brown, who was arrested over the weekend and charged with felony criminal threats for allegedly hitting girlfriend Rihanna.

In an interview on "Last Call" with Carson Daly, rapper T.I urged fans not to rush to judgement about the incident.

“Hey man, you people gotta remember, we celebrities and we entertainers but we still human. All of us,” T.I. said.

“Don’t expect us not to make mistakes ‘cause we will.”

T.I. said that he had spoken to Chris Brown. “He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris,” T.I. told Daly.

T.I., who is scheduled to beginning serving a jail sentence for weapons charges, said he wasn't aware of the specifics about what happened between Brown and Rihanna.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - In the wake of this weekend's alleged incident, Rihanna has reportedly canceled plans for an upcoming 21st birthday party, E! News reports.

About 200 or so guests were expected at the party, which according to E!, was to have had a carnival theme with various "sideshow" attractions.

So far there are no plans to reschedule the event.

Meantime, Chris Brown, who was arrested on charges of making felony criminal threats, has canceled an upcoming appearance at the NBA All-Star Game this weekend.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Although Chris Brown's alleged beating of his longtime girlfriend Rihanna certainly came as a shock to the general public, after looking into his childhood history of abuse and violence, it seems like this is something Chris has been battling with in one way or another most of his young life.

A little over a year ago, Brown told Contact Music about the pain he and his family suffered at the hands of someone close to them, in intimate detail.

"I don't want to mention the person's name - it wasn't my real father - but somebody hurt my mom and me, I had to deal with that from seven all the way to 13. It affected me, especially towards women - I treat them differently. I don't want to put a woman through the same thing that person put my mom through," Brown said.

Although Chris' experiences may have initially caused him to treat women with care and respect, it's hard to break the cycle of violence, and Brown admitted to Giant that he used to dream about killing the man who hurt his mom.

"(I told my mother) 'I just want you to know that I love you, but I'm gonna take a baseball bat one day while you are at work, and I'm gonna kill him.' He used to hit my mom...He made me terrified all the time, terrified like I had to pee on myself. I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, 'I'm just gonna go crazy on him one day...' I hate him to this day," said Brown.

Despite his history, sources say this weekend's incident may not have been the first incident of violence between the couple. MTV cites numerous sources who claim the couple had his a "rough patch" and rumors swirled about fights and infidelities.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to E! Online, Rihanna has told police that her boyfriend Chris Brown "choked her while threatening to kill her and [she] subsequently lost consciousness."

The couple apparently began fighting after they left Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party on Saturday night, and just after midnight, the fight escalated in Brown's rented silver Lamborghini. Brown reportedly pulled his car to the side of the road in Hancock Park, and Rihanna allegedly grabbed the car keys and tossed them out the window, which caused Chris to become enraged.

Brown went outside and searched for the keys, came back to the car, put his hands around Rihanna's neck and, according to E! Online's source, told the R&B singer, "I'm going to kill you!" Rihanna told police that she lost consciousness after that, and when she awoke, Chris was gone.

A concerned bystander called 911, the police came and took Rihanna to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

Additionally, The Jakarta Post reports that Rihanna has cancelled yet another concert, this one in Jakarta, Indonesia. Rihanna previously cancelled her upcoming birthday bash and another show in Malaysia.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A text message from another woman may have started the argument that led the fight in which Rihanna was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend Chris Brown.

According to TMZ, Brown received a text message from a woman who wanted to meet up with the R&B singer later in the evening.

The report also reveals that the police report of the incident mentions an argument over a rapper - however, TMZ says this was not what started the altercation in Brown's rented silver Lamborghini.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A source tells Us Weekly that Chris Brown and Rihanna have a "volatile" relationship, and an insider close to Rihanna tells the magazine that she had "clearly visible" bruises on her neck in early December.

The friend asked the singer what was going on with her and Chris, to which she simply responded, "We broke up again."

According to Life & Style Chris Brown has had a previous encounter with law enforcement.

At a hotel in Miami in 2007, police were called to Chris' room after he got into a fight with his mom and was reportedly "screaming and throwing dishes."

"He was fighting with his mom. Neighboring hotel guests alerted security and they came upstairs to the room, saw the broken dishes and the mess, and then asked his mother to leave the room.

Police were then called, but charges were not filed as Chris simply paid the hotel bill and left the hotel," a source told the magazine.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) -Terrence Howard and T.I. are backing away from statements they made defending Chris Brown.

Terrence described the incident as "just life, man" before adding, "Rihanna knows he loves her." While T.I. said Chris was "cool" and that fans shouldn't "expect [entertainers] not to make mistakes because we will."

Now, both are clarifying their earlier statements, saying they didn't know all the facts at the time.

"When [reporters] asked me about Chris Brown the other day, I was in no way aware of what he had been accused of," Howard said in a statement to E! News.

"Had I known, I would have never had said something so insensitive."

And T.I. issued a statement saying he "made a mistake of commenting before understanding the situation."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Chris Brown has reportedly returned to Los Angeles to discuss legal strategy with family and advisors following his arrest last weekend for allegedly making felony criminal threats against his girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown reportedly left LA for Las Vegas after posting bond after turning himself in to the LAPD on Sunday.

“Chris and family are back in LA. They had a family meeting last night in the Hollywood Hills at a relative's house to discuss what they are going to do. They have also hired a decoy (Chris' cousin) Terrance Hawkins that looks just like Chris but 3 inches taller. Chris will be meeting with his legal team this weekend. Chris is not looking at any jail time just fines," a source claiming to be close to Brown's family told X17online.

Rihanna was nominated as outstanding female artist. That award went to Beyonce.

Brown was nominated for outstanding male artist once again after taking home the award last year. Jaime Fox was given the award this year.

Jennifer Hudson was the night's big winner, garnering awards for best new artist, album of the year and best duo.

The 40th Annual NAACP were held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Los Angeles Police Department has begun an investigation into the leak of a photograph showing a battered and bruised Rihanna.

The picture, which the LAPD admits appears to be from their investigation into the alleged altercation between the R&B singer and her boyfriend Chris Brown.

The photograph was posted on the entertainment news website TMZ. The website did not disclose how it came into possession of the photograph.

The LAPD released a statement announcing the investigation saying it "takes very seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence."

"The Department launched an immediate internal investigation and subsequently filed a personnel complaint," the statement read.

"A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rihanna spent her 21st birthday in Mexico, while investigators continue to decide whether to charge Chris Brown for allegedly beating her up on the night before the Grammy Awards.

According to the New York Daily News, Rihanna and a couple of close friends have been relaxing at a private beachside villa in Punta Mita, Mexico.

The singer was spotted walking along the beach in a bikini, and the bruises on her face from the alleged altercation were no longer visible.

Meantime, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office says that Rihanna has not filed charges against Brown and that currently the office "does not have enough evidence" to press charges.

However, the DA spokesperson added, "If the state gathers up enough evidence, we will press charges with or without her testifying. It is not up to the victim."

Brown is set to appear in a Los Angeles court on March 5, and despite previous reports that Rihanna will have to attend the hearing, the spokesperson for the DA's office said that she is not required to be there - the only way she would be forced to face Brown is if the case goes to trial.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Chris Brown is reportedly negotiating with authorities to avoid felony charges for allegedly beating up his girlfriend Rihanna, Radar Online reports.

The website reports that Brown is talking with prosecutors in a hope to avoid a jail sentence.

So far no felony charges have been filed against Brown. Radar reports prosecutors feel felony charges are unlikely and that a deal would likely include Brown pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge and would not serve anytime behind bars.

The defense team is also said to be concerned that the release of a photograph allegedly showing a battered and bruised Rihanna could taint any jury pool.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Following a three-week investigation, the Los Angeles Police Department has turned over evidenced of Chris Brown's alleged beating of his girlfriend Rihanna to the District Attorney's office.

"The District Attorney does have the case," LAPD media spokesman Richard French told the New York Daily News, however the DA's office has yet to confirm they've received the case.

Brown is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - On the night before he's scheduled to be arraigned for allegedly beating up his girlfriend Rihanna, R&B singer Chris Brown was spotted by X17 photographers arriving at her home at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.

This is the second night in a row that Brown has been seen visiting at Rihanna's Hollywood Hills home.

"Chris was doing everything he could not to be photographed. He definitely has not wanted to be seen going to Rihanna's," said an X17online photographer on the scene.

Brown is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom later today where he could face multiple felony domestic abuse charges.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A celebrity rights advocacy group is hoping to enact “Rihanna’s Law,” that would legislated privacy and protection of crime victims.

The proposal will make leaking, distributing and publishing private law enforcement crime photos, (such as the one of Rihanna,) illegal whether there is money exchanged or not.

The current law, "Mel's Law" requires money change hands in order to be considered a crime.

Under current law, anyone can leak private victim photos and get away with it, as long as no one can prove the source received money, which is virtually impossible to do.

"The publication of Rihanna's police victim photo was inexcusable and will likely help the alleged attacker get off. All involved need to be prosecuted in cases like this and with the new proposed law, acts like this will be less common due to a real threat of prosecution” says Terry Ahern, President of Stoparazzi.

Ahern went on to say “The main goal is to protect victim's rights. Let’s not allow situations like this victimize the victim.”

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - On the day he's scheduled to be arraigned on felony charges that he beat up his girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown was spotted at The Beverly Hills Hotel relaxing by the pool.

Asked if he was nervous, Brown replied "It's all good. I'm not sweating it," InTouch Weekly reports.

"[Chris and his entourage] were laughing and joking around. Chris was in a great mood,” a hotel guest tells the magazine.

Brown is expected to arrive at the Los Angeles County Courthouse within the hour.

LOS ANGELES, California(X17online) - Is Rihanna having her attorneys help with Chris Brown's defense?

According to Extra!, during yesterday's arraignment, Rihanna's attorney Donald Etra was standing next to Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos. Right after the hearing was over, Etra was heard telling Brown, "I think Rihanna would like this over as quickly as possible. It benefits everybody."

Brown's attorney then said to Chris, "I've explained it to you that the best thing that could happen in this case is that [Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra] is involved. Didn't I tell you that?"

Etra replied, "And I would say to you that the best thing to you is that Mark [Geragos] is involved."

It's not clear just what coordination is going on between the two attorneys.

Meanwhile, on the night after his arraignment, Brown was seen at the bar of SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. The R&B singer was seen with his bodyguards leaving the hotel at 3:45a.m.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Despite the apparent cozy relationship between Rihanna's attorney and Chris Brown, Rihanna will take the stand to testify against her boyfriend if she is required to do so.

"She is planning to do everything that the law requires her to do," her attorney Donald Etra tells Us Magazine.

He says that Rihanna just wants this to be taken care of "as quickly as possible" but wouldn't say if she wants Brown convicted of the crimes he is accused of.

"The fact is, Rhianna desires that it be quick and expeditious," he told the mag. "She wants to get back to her life and her career."

However, Etra wouldn't comment on the status of the pair's relationship or if Rihanna might be pregnant with Brown's child.

"We are not going to discuss that. Rumors are gossip. There is no point. Idle rumors are gossip, for which there is no basis," Etra said.

But Etra did say Rihanna is "doing fine" and she "really appreciates the love and support of her fans."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Chris Brown and Rihanna have apparently patched up their relationship enough to record a track for Brown's upcoming album, E! News reports.

"They've been working on it together," an insider tells E!.

The pair have reportedly been spending long hours at a Santa Monica recording studio working on the track with producer Polow Da Don.

He's the guy behind hits for Will Smith, Fergie, Ciara, Usher, Ludacris and wrote the Pussycat Dolls' hit "Buttons.

Neither Brown's, nor Rihanna's spokesperson would comment on the reported collaboration.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The woman who sent Chris Brown a sexually suggestive text message that allegedly sparked the altercation with his girlfriend Rihanna has been identified.

TMZ reports the text came from Brown's manager, Tina Davis.

Davis, 39, was rumored to have had a relationship with Brown when he was 16-years-old.

According to police reports, the fight that led to Brown's recent arrest began after Rihanna read a text message "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with."

Meantime, RadarOnline reports Brown recently purchased Rihanna and expensive ring - possibly an engagement or wedding ring.

Brown reportedly paid more than $50,000 for a diamond ring at Van Clef & Arpels in Bal Harbour, Florida last week.

The site reports Brown gave the ring to Rihanna while the couple vacationed at Sean Combs house in Miami.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rihanna has been slowly re-entering public life after an altercation with boyfriend Chris Brown on the night before the Grammy Awards.

Last night X17online spotted the R&B singer at Geisha House, and an X17 photographer on the scene tells X17online exclusively that Rihanna arrived around at the restaurant/bar at 11:30pm and left around 2am, after which she went straight home to meet up with Chris Brown.

Chris had been at the studio, and he arrived at Rihanna's house around 1:30pm, and as soon as he got there, it appears as though Rihanna rushed home from the club to be with him.

This is the second night in a row Rihanna's gone out on the town.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Mark Geragos, the attorney for Chris Brown, has requested an unscheduled hearing before the R&B singer's planned arraignment on April 6th, TMZ reports.

According to the website, the hearing will take place on March 23rd. Prosecutors and Geragos will meet, Brown is not expected to attend.

Details of what will be discussed are unclear, however, TMZ reports it concerns Rihanna's possible testimony. Geragos could ask the judge to prevent prosecutors from calling Rihanna to the stand or limiting the scope of her testimony.

TMZ reports, a plea bargain is not expected to be discussed.

According to the NY Daily News, Rihanna's met with producers in New York about a proposed remake of the 1992 Whitney Houston, Kevin Costner film, "The Bodyguard."

LOS ANGELES, California(X17online) - Rihanna had a girl's night out with friends including Hayen Panettiere, Katie Perry and other at Les Deux nightclub in Hollywood on Wednesday night.

But shortly after leaving the hot spot, Rihanna's chauffeur driven SUV was pulled over by LAPD officers because the vehicle did not have a front license plate.

"When Rihanna left around 2am, her driver drove the wrong way on the road trying to avoid the photographers, and the cops pulled him over on Hollywood and Cahuenga," an X17online photographer on the scene reports.

It's not known if the driver was cited.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rihanna was spotted touring several homes for sale in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles on Monday.

The neighborhood, located in the foothills above the famous "Sunset Strip," is home to many celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Keanu Reeves.

Chris Brown, who was charged with assaulting Rihanna last month, was not present for the tour.

The "Disturbia" singer took a look at Jerry Seinfield's former home on Sierra Mar Place. The large contemporary 3 bedroom, 4 and-one-half bath home is listed at $7.9 million. The home features incredible views of Los Angeles and has an "outdoor living room" with a built-in flat screen television and fireplace.

Rihanna also toured Christina Aguilera's former home on Devlin Drive. Priced at $6.9 million, the modern home has 4 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. According to the listing agent, there is also a screening room with seating for 14 people, a pool, and sweeping views of Los Angeles.

Another home Rihanna toured is a stunning mid-century modern on Rising Glen Drive. The home has walls of glass that open, creating an indoor-outdoor living environment. The walled and gated property is very private with an outdoor theater, as well as a pool and grassy yard. The 4 bedroom, 4 and a half bath property is listed at $6.5 million.

Finally Rihanna toured a home that Britney Spears once considered purchasing on Sunset View Drive. The gated modern home has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is situated on a knoll above the Chateau Marmont. The multi-level property has incredible views of the Los Angeles basin and a hotel style deck with a tented patio and a pool that appears to float above the city. The house is listed at $4.9 million.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - While checking out mansions in the Hollywood hills this week, Rihanna had NYC based tattoo artist BangBang flown out to LA, and he designed some body art for her.

Not just any art though - Rih had two handguns tattoed on her body.

"She loves the gun tattoo," BangBang tells Life & Style.

"She flew me out to LA for the day because she was getting a tattoo for one of her friends as a birthday gift, Bangbang said.

"We were thinking of putting it on her finger next to her wrist, or on her shoulders. She loved that, but it took away from her face, and you know, she's a CoverGirl, so we couldn't do that!"

The tattoo took about 15 minutes to complete.

NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Rihanna was involved in a minor traffic accident last night in New York City.

According to witnesses at the scene, Rihanna's driver tried to speed away from photographers after the R&B star left the restaurant Da Silvano.

"When they left the restaurant around 9:45, the driver was going crazy ... He was burning every red light - about 30 of them. Finally he ended up crashing into a taxi because he was driving so dangerously," an X17 photographer tells X17online.

Rihanna was picked up by another chauffeured car and returned to her hotel. There were no injuries and police were not called to the scene.

"Rihanna didn't seem to be too worried about the accident. She had to wait a while inside the car before a second limo came to pick her up but when she got into the other car, she looked fine. She just moved quickly so the paps wouldn't get a shot of her and then that car sped away," according to the X17photographer.

Later that evening, Rihanna left her hotel to see the film "Madea Goes to Jail."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Even though they were spotted together last week, Los Angeles Lakers' basketball player Andrew Bynum tells X17online he and Rihanna are "just friends."

When asked if he and Rihanna are dating, Bynum told X17online "nope."

Last week, Bynum and Rihanna had dinner at Mastros steakhouse in Beverly Hills. A witness told X17online the pair looked "very couple-y, sitting real close to each other in the car."

NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Madonna wore fabric horns, while Rihanna opted for a puffy-sleeved tuxedo, but was fashion was the star at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Benefit last night in New York.

It's fashion's biggest night of the year, when supermodels, celebrities, fashion designers and style-arbiters show off their most extreme styles.

The New York Times said seats for the event started at $7,500, with some tables costing as much as $250,000.

NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Rihanna is taking New York City by storm: shopping, dining, even apartment hunting, but it's her signature fashion style that has everyone talking.

On Monday, Rihanna attended the Met's Costume Institute Gala in a puffy sleeved tuxedo which made fashion headlines around the world.

The next day, Rihanna continued to show off her celebrity street style in PVC leggings, a bomber jacket and a rather unusual earring for a shopping trip and lunch with friends.

On Wednesday, Rihanna wore a bustier and a pair of shredded jeans as the weather in New York warmed up.

Rihanna, who's been house hunting in Los Angeles, also checked out a few upscale apartments in Soho.

That night, Rihana's fashion continue to turn heads when she exited the Gramercy Park Hotel in a sleek white pants suit with a leopard print blouse with a plunging neckline.

It's not clear when Rihanna is planning on returning to Los Angeles, the home she's vacated the her longtime rental house and has yet to find a replacement.

NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Rihanna was spotted entering a building that houses, among others, Dr. Michael A. Perelman, a sex therapist and the president-elect of the society for sex therapy and research.

The building on East 77th Street between Park and Madison on New York's Upper East Side also contains other psychotherapists as well as residences.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Graphic pictures of Rihanna surfaced on the internet last week, but this is nothing new - the scandalous photos have been making the rounds for quite some time now.

Back in November of 2008, X17online, along with several major magazines and blogs were offered the pictures of Rihanna and Cassie - pictures that were sent to a mutual ex-flame of both of the singers.

These pics were being shopped around before the Chris Brown incident, and sources tell X17online exclusively that the pictures were taken months before they were first made available to the media, so even though many websites are speculating that Rihanna sent these to Chris, or that Chris is responsible for this, it appears as though this is all just very coincidental timing.

Of course, now is the best time to release them due to the amount of press Rihanna has gotten, but Chris certainly wasn't behind this back in November, and it's highly unlikely that he's involved in it now - these pics were being sold for money, not for revenge.

It's generally been X17's policy not to release pictures that come from questionable sources, and that are clearly private property, which is why we passed on the pictures of Cassie and Rihanna last fall, and why we haven't posted them here.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - In a new video that's popped up on YouTube, Chris Brown has a message for all the "haters."

In an arrogant voice without remorse, Chris says:"Everybody that’s haters, they just been haters. All my real fans, I love you all. I ain’t a monster."

Meantime, while their relationship has apparently stalled - it looks like Brown and Rihanna are both moving forward with their careers.

Chris is reportedly hoping a role as a homeless person will help people see him in a different light.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to her attorney, Rihanna will be subpoenaed to testify at Chris Brown's next court hearing.

Attorney Donald Etra says he got the news from the District Attorney's office that they want his client to take the stand.

Etra, says Rihanna will fully cooperate with the request.

It should be a pretty dramatic moment, and it will be the first we've heard Rihanna's version of what happened on the night of the fight with Chris Brown that left the R&B princess bloodied and bruised.

Chris Brown will also be required to attend the proceedings. So Rihanna will have tell her side of the story while Chris is the in the same room.

That courtroom showdown is scheduled for June 22nd.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rihanna has been subpoenaed to testify at a preliminary hearing for in the assault case against her former boyfriend Chris Brown.

Rihanna's attorney Donald Etra confirmed the news that the R&B princess will have tell the court what happened to her on the night she and Brown got into a argument that allegedly lead to a violent attack.

"Rihanna was served at my office by LA DA investigators," Etra said. "If the preliminary hearing indeed goes forward, she is now legally required to be there, she will be there, and will answer all questions truthfully."

The preliminary hearing is set for June 22nd.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Chris Brown has copped a plea in his felony assault case stemming from his alleged beating of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year, requiring him to spend 180 days in his home state of Virginia in a domestic violence labor program. He was also give 5 years' probation for the assault charge.

Brown must enroll in a domestic violence counseling program and if he violates the terms of his probation, he could face up to 4 years in state prison. Additionally, the judge is enforcing a stay away order in which Brown is not allowed to have contact with Rihanna and he cannot come within 50 yards of her. When the two are at industry events, this distance will be reduced to 10 yards.

Brown left the courtroom at approximately 2:14pm, and Rihanna didn't enter the courtroom until after he left. She wore a black top and pearls, and as soon as the district attorney passed a copy of the protective order to her, she exited the courtroom.

Brown is set to be sentenced on August 5 at 1:45 pm, and is currently free on bond.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - While Rihanna's attorney claims she is satisfied with the sentence Chris Brown received for assaulting her earlier this year, she is not happy about the judge's order that Brown must stay at least 50 yards away from her unless they are attending industry events.

Attorney Donald Etra said Rihanna felt this was an unnecessary step, as the two have reunited without problems since the incident.

The judge could remove the "stay away" condition from Brown's probation at a future date.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Chris Brown released a statement today following media attention on his interview with Larry King which will air on CNN this Wednesday.

X17online and others picked up on an excerpt from the interview in which Brown said he "can't believe" he assaulted Rihanna and today's statement clarifies what Chris claims he intended to say:

"There have been reports on the internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight.

That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times -- and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.

The first four times – or how ever many times it was - I gave the same answer -- which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time – or whatever it was – I just misspoke. I was asked, 'Do you remember doing it?' and I said, 'No.'

Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterward and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before.

As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can’t. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - After months of silence, Rihanna is finally speaking out about her horrible ordeal with Chris Brown, the ensuing media madness and domestic violence.

In an interview with Glamour, Rihanna revealed that although certain events in the past several months have been "humiliating" for the pop star, she's now "stronger, wiser and more aware."

When asked how she got through the difficult year, Rihanna replied:

"My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be—no one can understand. That’s when you get close to God."

But she says the incident with Brown is not the only thing she's had to overcome:

"I am talking about starting with the night [before] the Grammys and then on. That was not the only thing that occurred this year. The picture leaking…it was one thing after another. It was humiliating; that is not a photo you would show to anybody. I felt completely taken advantage of. I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it’s my life. I was disappointed, especially when I found out the photo was [supposedly leaked by] two women."

And the ensuing media coverage of the shocking event has become a learning experience for Ri:

"It has taught me so much. I felt like I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day. It was like, What, there are helicopters circling my house? There are 100 people in my cul-de-sac? What do you mean, I can’t go back home?"

After months of working on herself, Rihanna finally feels that she's ready to help others by speaking out about domestic violence:

"It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women."

This is the interview people have been waiting for her to give ever since her violent fight with then-boyfriend Chris Brown. And although she's been somewhat scrutinized for not speaking out earlier, we commend Rihanna for taking the time to heal herself before reaching out to try and help others.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Although the full interview won't air until tomorrow night, GMA gave us another look at Rihanna's emotional sit-down with Diane Sawyer.

"That's embarrassing that that's the type of person that I fell in love with," she tells Diane in the new clip.

"I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong," Rihanna said. "But again ... I'm a human being and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. And all these expectations, I'm not perfect."

Rihanna said her decision to finally get out was motivated by the idea that she was a negative role model for other young women who may have been in her same situation.

"Even if Chris never hit me again, who is to say that their boyfriend won't? Who's to say that they won't kill these girls?" Rihanna continued, "These are young girls and I just didn't realize how much of an impact I had on these girls' lives until that happened."

LONDON, England (X17online) - Rihanna has just tied with Elvis Presley's chart record after her fifth single reached the UK Number One slot in five consecutive years.

The sexy singer hit the top spot with What's My Name? becoming the only female solo artist in UK chart history to achieve this. This track follows the chart-topping success of Only Girl (In The World) (2010), Run This Town (2009), Take A Bow (2008) and Umbrella (2007).

Rihanna also remained on top of the albums chart with Loud.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The lawsuit famed photographer Dave LaChapelle filed against Rihanna is moving forward.

Back in February, LaChapelle claimed that Rihanna's "S&M" music video "is directly derived from and substantially similar to the LaChapelle works," based on its “composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting."

Rihanna and LaChapelle have worked together in the past, and the singer reportedly asked directors to create a "LaChapelle-esque" video for her song, even giving them a storyboard that including some of his prints.

The US District Court in New York City refused to dismiss the copyright claim, so the photographer can now continue to develop his lawsuit.

In her decision, Judge Shira A. Scheindlin wrote:

"Both works share the frantic and surreal mood of women dominating men in a hypersaturated, claustrophobic domestic space. Thus, I find that an ordinary observer may well overlook any differences and regard the aesthetic appeal of “Striped Face” and the “Pink Room Scene” as the same."

A pre-trial date has been set for August 10.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Justin Bieber is joining forces with Britney Spears, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Kanye West and over 150 other stars to use social media to bring attention to the drought and food crisis in East Africa.

They will take to their Facebook and Twitter pages on August 9 in support of Save the Children's new campaign. The region, and especially Somalia, is facing one of its worst droughts in decades, with over 10 million people effected. The music, sports, fashion and pop culture stars goals is to reach their combined 730 million fans and followers to raise awareness to the tragedy.

The campaign features the 1973 Bob Marley song "High Tide or Low Time," picked specifically by the Marley family. The singer's widow Rita Marley said:

"Not one child should be denied food nor water. Not one child should suffer. Along with Save the Children, we must stand up together as friends to put a stop to this, to feed our children and to save their lives."

Save The Children is a non-profit organization that raises funds for food, water and medicine for impoverished children in the United States and around the world. They are working with agencies to deliver aid across East Africa, especially in Somalia where one million children are facing starvation if they do not receive food immediately.

NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Rihanna has settled a lawsuit with celebrity photographer David LaChapelle over her “S&M” music video.

LaChapelle sued Rihanna and her label, Def Jam, for $1 million, alleging that the aesthetic qualities of the “S&M” video were excessively similar to those of his own photographs.

“I like RiRi,” LaChapelle said after first filing the suit. “This is not personal, it’s strictly business. Musicians commonly pay to sample music or use someone’s beats and there should be no difference when sampling an artist’s visuals.”

The lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed amount.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rihanna is slated to perform on The X Factor next week.

The “We Found Love” singer will perform on Thursday’s live performance show, following this week’s electric performances by Willow Smith and Jessie J.

As for Wednesday’s live results show, Simon Cowell revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that he scrapped his initial plan of a Lady Gaga & Madonna theme for a Rock-N-Roll theme.

“I thought doing Lady Gaga and Madonna could get a bit too choreography-led and also too restrictive,” Cowell shared. “Rock music gives you a better chance to use the whole stage like we did on the auditions: just you and a huge platform behind you and make it like it’s your first concert.”
