LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rob Pattinson will receive the "New Hollywood" award from the 12th annual Hollywood Film Festival. Pattinson, who is best known for his role in the "Harry Potter" movies, will next be seen as the vampire Edward Cullen in the upcoming "Twilight."
Ben Stiller, Marisa Tomei, and the cast of "The Secret Lives of Bees," are also being honored by the festival.
"It's an honor to recogonize the great work and talent (of the honorees)," said Festival founder Carlos de Abreu.
The awards will be handed out in a ceremony at the Beverly Hilton on October 27th.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson had his hand-prints immortalized in cement at New York City's Planet Hollywood.

The 22-year-old British actor's prints will join those of other stars, such as Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzennegger, at the movie-themed restaurant.

The event brought out hundreds of fans of Pattinson and the vampire-themed "Twilight" books.

A slight gaff caused some embarrassment for the 'Harry Potter' actor. Because of a delay, the cement had already begun to harden before Pattinson made it to the stage. Despite pressing with his entire body weight, the actor's hands were barely able to make an impression in the cement. Pattinson smiled sheepishly as an assistant helped by firmly pressing the actors fingers into the cement.

"Twilight" opens in theaters on November 21st.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Because of the production schedule for "New Moon", Robert Pattinson is dropping out of "Parts Per Billion," an independent film that would have teamed the actor with Rosario Dawson and Juno star Olivia Thirlby.

Meantime, fans should find out this week if Taylor Lautner will get to keep the role of Jacob Black in "New Moon."

Taylor's been doing everything in his power to hang on to the role. He's reportedly put on nearly 20 pounds of muscle and is working on adding another 10 pounds.

''My job for Twilight was to bring Twilight Jacob to life — the friendly, happy-go-lucky little Jacob,'' Taylor told MTV News.

''My job for New Moon is completely different. I've been looking forward to that. I've been getting ready for it, and I can assure them I will follow through with that.''

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson will be handing out an Oscar at this year's Academy Awards, HitFix reports.

The website says it has exclusively confirmed Pattinson's appearance, however the academy is not announcing the names of presenters this year.

No word on which category Pattison will hand out, or if he will be joined by his "Twilight" co-star Kristen Stewart.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart says she and co-star Robert Pattinson are not romantically involved, but that they are "good friends."

Addressing the rumors of a romance, Stewart tells Nylon magazine, “It’s just totally false… Rob and I are good friends."

Stewart does say that all of the attention focused on them following the release of the movie has formed a special bond.

"We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him. And it’s like, I know this guy really f**king well [laughs]. It’s only natural that we’re sort of leaning on each other, because we’re put in the most f**king psychotic situations,” Stewart says.

Stewart says that she is dating. She refused to identify her boyfriend only saying he's older than she is and he's "awesome."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - There were a few tense moments on the set of the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon" when star Robert Pattinson was hit in the head with a piece of flying metal.

According to The National Enquirer, a strong gust of wind tore loose a metal sign and slammed it right into the back of Rob's head, knocking him to the ground.

A few moments later, Pattinson was able to get up by himself, but was a little dazed. Medics checked him out - he apparently has a pretty good goose egg on the back of his head - and sent him back to his hotel to rest.

Filming resumed the next day.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rob Pattinson confirms there will be a fourth Twilight movie and he'll be in it!

R-Patz tells The Hollywood Reporter he's committed to be a part of Breaking Dawn but he doesn't know when Summit Entertainment will begin production.

Apparently they've got to figure out a way to fit the filming into Rob's jam-packed schedule. In addition to Twilight sequels New Moon and Eclipse, the messy-haired hunk is signed on to star in Remember Me which he'll begin filming this summer.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - One of the hottest male stars today, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson, auctioned off a chance at his lips - the opportunity to kiss him - to raise money for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS charity.

The actor attended the group's 2009 benefit auction in Cannes last night and legendary producer, Harvey Weinstein, surprised Pattinson by putting him on the spot and asking if he would sell a kiss to the highest bidder. Pattinson agreed and two bidders paid 20,000 Euros each for their daughters to smooch the star.

MONTEPULCIANO, Italy (X17online) - Robert Pattinson and other members of the "New Moon" cast were spotted on the film's Italian set.

In the scenes being shot, Pattinson, as the vampire Edward, was seen shirtless outside of an old church.

Later in another scene, Pattinson was seen sharing a kiss with co-star Kirsten Stewart, who plays Bella.

Fans of the Twilight saga are eagerly awaiting the film's expected release later this year.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - X17online photographers spotted Kristen Stewart with her "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson in the courtyard of a West Hollywood hotel this morning.

The pair, who attended the MTV Movie Awards together last night and later were seen in a private booth at Cecconi's restaurant, have denied they are dating.

In the photos, Rob can be seen getting into a black SUV heading to LAX, while Kristen is seen behind the car.

"It looked like she was hiding from us," an X17online photographer said. "It was clear that she didn't want us to know that she was there with Rob."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - An exclusive video shot by X17online shows Kristen Stewart's mom and dad with Robert Pattinson, providing more evidence that the on-screen couple is a couple off-screen as well.

The video show's Stewart's parents with the "Twilight" star in the courtyard of The Charlie Hotel as an SUV arrives to take him to the airport.

Pattinson can be seen talking with Stewart's mother, who then gives him a big hug and runs her fingers through his trademark tresses.

Kristen is briefly seen, apparently hiding from the paparazzi, behind the SUV.

The "Twilight" stars have long denied there is any off-screen romance between them.

NEW YORK, New York - Has the on-screen romance between Robert Pattinson and his Remember Me co-star Emilie de Ravin spilled off-screen?

The actors have been seen kissing and cuddling while shooting scenes and Rob's girlfriend Kristen Stewart is apparently not happy about it, OK magazine reports.

"[Kristen] knows screen kisses are part of Rob's job, but it doesn't make things easier, seeing sexy photos of him and Emilie in full lip-lock," a friend of Stewart's said.

But is that all that's really worrying Kristen?

While she's in California filming The Runaway, Rob and Emilie have been spending a lot of time together away from the set in New York.

Last week, the two were spotted in a private room at the Soho House and are often seen at Gemma, a restaurant in The Bowery Hotel.

Friends say Kristen is so concerned about loosing Rob to Emilie, that she's is planning on flying to New York to visit Rob as soon as she can.

NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - The security team charged with protecting Robert Pattinson from throngs of screaming fans is being criticized by the New York City Police Department for not doing enough to protect him.

The Twilight star has been in the big apple shooting "Remember Me" and has been swarmed by fans at every location where filming has taken place.

"Enough is enough. His security people aren't up to the task of keeping him safe, and they have no idea how to deal with the crowds this guy attracts," one report quotes a police source.

Pattinson, for his part, has tried to quiet the fans as well.

"People ambush me and try to find out what hotel I'm staying at, as well as wanting to touch my hair. Everyone just screams and screams," Pattinson said.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Despite photos suggesting a romance with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson insists he's still a single guy.

In a recent interview with the UK's Daily Mirror, Pattinson says the stories about his romantic life are far from true.

"I don’t have a girlfriend. I don’t know why," Pattinson insists.

And apparently being one of the biggest movie stars on the planet doesn't help.

“You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you’re like ‘I’m a big movie star and I want to go out with some models’ but I don’t know why that doesn’t happen."

The 23-year-old also complains about life in Hollywood.

“It’s especially different in LA. Most of the women there are actresses and by default that makes them a little bit nuts – not that that’s a bad thing. But I don’t really have a type. Whenever I get asked who my favorite celebrity crush is, I have no idea."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart like to deny their relationship, but the chemistry between them in a new photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar says a thousand words.

Even in the accompanying interview, which the duo is careful not to admit to any romantic relationship, you can read between the lines and definitely see that they, as the interviewer says, "couldn't be closer."

In fact, reading their responses is like listening to two high schoolers in love!

When asked about Kristen, Rob replied, "She's a unique girl," who "intimidated" him when they first met. "You don't meet many people like Kristen."

As for Rob, Kristen says "He's a great singer. Heartbreaking."

The down-low couple went on to rate each other in terms of who is more romantic, (Rob), egotistical (Rob), spends the most time on their hair (Rob) and who is more athletic (Kristen.)

The highly anticipated sequel to Twilight, New Moon, will be in theaters November 20th.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been careful to avoid any admissions that they're a couple offscreen as well as onscreen, but last night they proved they were romantically involved when photogs caught them in an intimate moment, holding hands at Le Bourget airport in Paris.

Fans of the films have been speculating about their relationship ever since their steamy connection onscreen in the first film, but Rob and Kristen have gone to great lengths recently to hide it, making sure they're never photographed together and talking around the relationship in interviews. But yesterday, they seemed to be sending a message of a different kind.

Says one photog on the scene, "Kristen almost never smiles when she's photographed, but from the minute she arrived in Paris, she seemed lighter, happier. Maybe being in the most beautiful city in the world relaxed her, and she became tired of hiding." The photog continued, "She looked so calm and content with Rob's hand in hers, I think she finally decided not to fight it anymore and let her relationship live out in the open!"

With the Twilighters on a press tour of Europe for New Moon, perhaps Rob and Kristen will be even more inspired to stop fighting the rumors and reveal what fans have known from the beginning: that they're definitely a couple!

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - This morning on The Today Show, Robert Pattinson admitted to Matt Lauer that he and Kristen Stewart are engaged.

In a playful game of "True or False," Matt Lauer on the Today Show asked Pattinson about a series of rumors. "You're dating a costar whose name rhymes with Tristan Blewart," Lauer asked. "Yes" Pattinson responded, trying not to crack up. "You got engaged?" "Ahhh, yes," Rob responded after a pause.

But Rob also admitted that he got into a "butt accident" and had a "drug overdose," so this is clearly British sarcasm at work, but there's no denying that Rob's running out of ways to deny the relationship!

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (X17online) - There is certainly no shortage of New Moon fans. Now the film festival crowd is getting in on the action. The Twilight Saga will receive the ShoWest/Fandango Fan Choice Award.

The Twilighters are making sure that their voices are heard, and with ShoWest being one of the most visible annual conventions, their efforts appear to be working. Nearly 50,000 moviegoers voted for The Twilight Saga: New Moon by voting on Fandango's website.

The award will be presented Thursday at ShoWest's Final Night Banquet and Award Ceremony at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas. The stars of New Moon have not confirmed whether they'll be in attendance. Rumor has it that a producer from the Twilight series will accept the award on their behalf.

Last year, the ShoWest/Fandango Fan Choice Award went to the original Twilight movie.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Catherine Hardwicke, director of the original Twilight film, says that if Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene press for too much money, they could get replaced.

Hardwicke tells UsWeekly: "Ashley and Kellan have agents, managers, lawyers... you get all of these outside influences telling you you should hold out for this much because you're such an important part of the franchise."

A source also tells the mag: "Summit leaked the story to turn fans against the cast. They are leading the negotiations to the press and are trying to make them look greedy... Summit has made millions and the cast is just looking to get what they deserve."

Hardwicke adds, "Possibly, Rachelle and Ashley and Kellan might not even be all that involved. They have all the other people telling them things and a lot of stuff can get mishandled, like what happened with Rachelle. There's so many possible misunderstandings. It breaks my heart. It could turn ugly. Do [these actors] deserve more money? Probably they do, on one level. But if everybody make so much money then... it's complicated. What a mess!"

Kristin Stewart, Rob Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are reportedly close to finalizing their deals ... said to be worth tens of millions each.

MANATTAN, New York (X17online) - Rob Pattinson is opening up about the movie, Eclipse, revealing that it's "really different, kind of serious."

The actor admits that he has seen an early cut of the film. According to Pattinson, "All the kinds of fight scenes that are in 'New Moon,' they're, like, real fights now. They're not, like, fantasy things. It's like a horror film," he tells MTV News.

The film was directed by David Slade, who directed the gory horror movie, 30 Days of Night. Due to "intense sequences of action and violence," Eclipse has been given a PG-13 rating.

Eclipse hits theaters on June 30.

LOS ANGELES, CA (X17online) - Fox's Teen Choice Awards came away as a winner and a loser Sunday night.

The awards show drew 3.2 million viewers but was down 27 percent from last year in the 18-49 demo. It did show gain young viewers, however - the show was up 8% from last year and was Fox's highest-rated telecast this summer among teens.

The show was hosted by The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco and featured performances by Selena Gomez and the Scene and OneRepublic.

The biggest winner of the night was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, which beat out The Twilight Saga in almost every category and took home seven awards. See a full list of winners here.

LOS ANGELES, California (x17online) - Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will join other stars as the two will head to France for this year's Cannes Film Festival next month.

The Twilight stars, who are also a couple, will head to the famous film festival to promote their movies that are in the competition. Pattinson will premiere David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis while Stewart will debut Walter Salles' On The Road.

Other celebrities are expected to attend the distinguished event besides the famous couple. Stars like Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt, Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, Marion Cotillard and Matthew McConaughey will be in attendance to promote their films.

The 65th Annual Festival de Cannes will run from May 16 to May 27.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Robert Pattinson has been added to the cast of Mission: Blacklist.

The Twilight actor will play Eric Maddox ... a military interrogator who helped coordinate the capture of Saddam Hussein.

Producer Ross M. Dinerstein released the following statement:

"This movie is a gripping, edge of your seat thriller. I have been inspired by Robert and Jean-Stéphane's dedication to tell this story in the most authentic way possible."

The flick is based on the book "Mission: Black List #1."
