LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Sarah Jessica Parker is in talks with Warner Bros. to get her own television show called The Ivy Chronicles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Ivy Chronicles follows the story Ivy Ames, a single mother in modern New York. Ames is an Upper East Side woman who gets divorced, loses her high-powered job is forced to start over. After taking her children out of private school, Ames launches a business to help upper-middle-class women get their children into elite kindergartens.
This would mark the Sex And The City star's return to the small screen, and Jerry Weintraub is set to produce the series, which is based on Karen Quinn's novel.
HBO Has "Enormous Interest" In A Sex And The City Sequel
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - HBO announced today that they are very interested in making a sequel to the Sex And The City movie, which grossed $55.7 million in it's opening weekend, and has earned $144.9 million to date.
Michael Lombardo, head of HBO programming on the west coast said:
"There is enormous interest by Warner Brothers Newline to do another Sex and the City, and I think, in fact, they're trying with our help to put that together now. When that happens, how long it will be, I can't say. I think everybody associated with that project was really heartened by, the enthusiasm from the fans of the show."
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actress Sarah Jessica Parker attended MLB's All-Star game in New York City on Tuesday, and the trademark mole on her chin appears to have been removed.
A source close to Parker told E! Online, “Yes, she’s had it removed,†and a source for Us Weekly says, “It’s true. She did have it done. There was no reason for it, it wasn’t because she didn’t like her mole, and it wasn’t because of any medical reason, it was simply because she was in the mood to have it removed. That’s all.†However, a representative for Parker denied these reports and stated, "Nothing has been removed."

Shannen Doherty And Sarah Jessica Parker Return To The Small Screen
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The CW announced on July 19 that Shannen Doherty will return to the new 90210. Doherty will reprise her role as Brenda Walsh for several episodes, and she'll play a guest director for West Beverly Hills High School's musical, according to Newsday.
Other original characters who have already signed on include Jennie Garth, who plays school counselor Kelly Taylor, and Tori Spelling, who plays good girl Donna Martin.
In other television news, Bravo has picked up Sarah Jessica Parker's reality television art competition show, called American Artist, from Parker's Pretty Matches production company and producers Magical Elves, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz of Magical Elves describe the show as a "Project Runway-style competition series" where aspiring artists compete to produce various styles of artwork (such as painting and sculpting), which is then judged by a panel of experts.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Sarah Jessica Parker's husband cheated on her with a 25-year-old woman, according to Star Magazine.
The magazine reports that Broderick met the redhead youth counselor at a bar and the two began exchanging text messages, and eventually started seeing each other. Sources say the woman tried to end her relationship with the married actor, but while Parker was filming Sex and the City in Los Angeles Broderick reportedly continued to make late-night visits to the woman's apartment building.

Sarah Jessica Parker And Gabourey Sidibe Announced As Spokeswomen For Anti-Sex Trafficking Campaign
BROOKLYN, New York (X17online) - Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker and Oscar nominated The Big C actress Gabourey Sidibe have been named spokeswomen for an anti-sex trafficking awareness campaign, the Brooklyn District Attorney's office announced in a press conference Thursday.
The announcement follows the indictment of a Brooklyn man accused of forcing a young German woman into prostitution and allegedly threatened to take away her 2-year-old twins.
Both actresses have agreed to appear in public service announcements that will run on New York City radio stations. They will also be featured in flyers and posters to be distributed around the Brooklyn area advertising a telephone hotline that will help aid victims and raise awareness of sex trafficking.
NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - Matthew Broderick is currently recovering from minor back surgery, his rep confirmed Monday.
Sources told the New York Post that Broderick and wife Sarah Jessica Parker "were forced to miss some events in the Hamptons last weekend because of the surgery."
Broderick's rep told the newspaper that the surgery was planned, saying, "Matthew had a sports injury some time ago. He pulled something in his back and recently underwent routine surgery. It was a simple procedure, he is fine and is up and about and back at home."

Katie Couric To Interview Sarah Jessica Parker In First ABC Gig
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Katie Couric’s first appearance on ABC News will feature an interview with actress Sarah Jessica Parker, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Following her departure from CBS in June, Couric’s first ABC gig will center on Parker’s role in her new comedy I Don’t Know How She Does It, as well as her more personal role as mother to her twin daughters, 2, and son, 8.
“They’re the source of my joy,†she told Couric.
The two also discuss the experience of media scrutiny in light of the current day "tabloid era.â€
"I think the things that are more painful to me are not the intrusion of paparazzi, it's the lack of civility that I find more intimidating and far more painful an experience," Parker shared. "It's the lack of critical thinking. It's the endless snarky, mean way we talk about each other, we approach each other. The anonymity of being cruel, the delight in tearing people down. The tabloid era that we find ourselves in is a cultural boneyard, and that is painful to me."
Couric’s interview with Sarah Jessica Parker will air Tuesday night on Nightline. Her ABC talk show Katie will debut on Thursday, Sept. 8.
Celebrities Team With Michelle Obama For Campaign To Help Veterans
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Alec Baldwin and Sarah Jessica Parker are just a few of the big name celebrities who have signed on to tape public service announcements in support of the "Got Your Six" campaign.
The concept for the campaign was inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama's Joining Forces initiative, and was formulated during a meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative America. The PSA's are aimed at improving conditions for military veterans and helping them reintegrate into civilian life. The goals are wide-ranging, from securing housing to increasing educational opportunities.
"The entertainment industry captures our imaginations, opens our eyes and touches our hearts, and I'm proud to work with them on our Joining Forces Initiative. By sharing the stories of strength and resilience that define our military families, we can motivate even more Americans to honor these courageous individuals in new ways. That's why I'm looking forward to working with the industry in the months and years ahead," the First Lady said in a statement.
The effort is being supported by TV networks, talent agencies, and Hollywood studios, who will partner with more than two dozen non-profits.
Among the celebrities helping the cause? Tom Hanks, Michael Douglas, Tracy Morgan, Milla Jovovich, Bradley Cooper, Brian Williams, Pharrell Williams, and Wendy Williams.
